    Musical Instruments?

Actually Zoot, that post was supposed to be addressed to Convincing John.

Foam cubes available at Wal-Mart Supercenters

Yes, we do. But I live in Mexico right now. There's a Wal-Mart here too (they're everywhere) but they don't always stock the same things.

    Musical Instruments?

Zoot, often you can't just buy what you need off the shelf. Sometimes you have to take a toy and modify it and repaint it.

My Computer Generated Fraggles (with pictures)

I'm doing that on all my new projects now. It's time consuming, but really good. Makes performing certain kinds of things much, much easier.

    Musical Instruments?

If you live in large city or even a small one you may be able to find them locally (it's hit and miss in my experience) but your best bet is probably searching on the Internet. Have you tried using Froogle?

Courses Of Study In Puppeteering, Film and Television

UCONN is your best bet if you can manage to go there; a lot of the people working professionally in the NYC puppet scene went there. Any place were you can spend a few years learning, practicing and growing as an artist is fantastic though.

What an awesome find! It figures this gets discovered the day after I'm in the U.S. Sigh...

Puppet Patterns: What's A Fair Price?

I have, not sure I would go that route. It seems like ebay is good for building awareness; puppets don't always sell for what they're worth but you can get a lot of commissions that way. I'm not sure how that would work with patterns. I might try auctioning one once they're ready as an...

My Computer Generated Fraggles (with pictures)

Matt, First, that's a great model! I'm in the early stages of developing an open source digital puppetry system, basically a way for anyone to perform "virtual puppets" using simple hardware like a data glove and game joystick. I know 3D (mostly 3DS but a little Maya too) but I'm not a good...

    How Do I Stop Adware?

You may have to run the scan and do the uninstall in Windows Safe Mode. Sometimes that is the only way to remove certain types of Spyware/Adware. If you were asking how much Spybot will make you pay to remove it, nothing. Spybot is totally free (although they accept donations). It sounds like...

The aerodynamic qualities of Bert's head

Of I heard recently that a bunch of rocket enthusists get together and hold semi-annual races with G-cluster rockets they build using vintage Bert puppets from ebay. Check it out - http://puppetvision.blogspot.com/2006/01/aerodynamic-qualities-of-berts-head.html

    Too Muppet-like?

So today in my blog I wrote about a new DVD called Fifteen Minutes. You can read the post, but basically I said that I thought it was really well done, but really too much like the Muppets. I know we all love the Muppets (this is Muppet Central after all) but the question that I wanted to...

    Spitting Image puppets

Ah, I was using a Mac at the time so I think that was the problem. I'm downloading it now, thanks.

    Spitting Image puppets

MuppetDanny, I can't download that file because it's on Angelfire, which doesn't allow you to do that. Could you upload it to YouTube and provide us all with the link perhaps?
