I would like to know a little more about this Lips guy. He wasn't in the EM and then all of a sudden he pops up in TGMC. And then he is gone from the group every other time I see him. Is he a member of the band or not? What else does he do. Was he just an excuse to have Steve Whitmire...
Have you all noticed that lately Sam Eagle has been pushed in front becoming more of a primary role? Since after the first 3 movies, he is a lead part. interesting and cool.
Also...what is up with Lips?? The only time I ever remember him with the band (or at all!) was in The Great Muppet...
That sounds okay. I just hope to God that some of these characters won't be paired too often. That is what makes certain pairs work together is that their personalities are not the same. It would be boring to have 2 Cookie Monsters/Animals together all the time
I think Rick Lyon should perform Ernie (no offense to SW), but it makes more sense than John T. After all, just listen to Lyon's performance as Nicky in Avenue Q. Perfect!
Yeah, it is just so strange. Was she even in Elmo in Grouchland? She was interviewed with Maria and Bob for the A&E Biography of SS and in Elmopalooza. I hope she will be interviewed in the new doc special. For the longest time I thought she had just dissapeared. Her and Bob are our windows...
I miss Rowlf too. He doesn't ever really talk since the death of Henson. I know that he appeared in MCC and had a couple of great close ups playing the piano (even looking right at the camera), he was rather jipped in MTI and was only seen briefly in the tavern, and i don't remember what he...
Big Bird was on The Muppet Show? When?? Is this episode on one of the DVDs cuz I would love to see that! I always enjoyed it when the Classic Muppets and the Sesame Street gang would come together as in The Muppet Family Christmas, and of course the brilliant SS cameos in all three original...
Yeah, I have started to really like Alan a lot. It is so funny because there was a period of time when i would only tune in occassionally because of time, and one day I turn it on and I see this new guy running Hooper's. I thought, "Where did HE come from?!" I guess I wasn't really around too...

Speaking of Bird... I know he is, or was, written as a 6-year-old, but doesn't it seem as if lately, he has been allowed to age a bit...like almost to a 7 or 8 year old?
In the book, Maria was referred to as a "teen". But even if she is in her early 20s, she can still have a relationship with David. How old do you suppose he was?
Its true. When the show first started, the regular Muppet cast only consisted of Big Bird, Oscar, Bert, Ernie, Cookie Monster, and KERMIT. And for a long time and even now, Bert and Ernie hardly ever appear in street scenes. Doesn't mean you aren't a "regular".
I think I would do this...
Alice:
White Rabbit: Bean Bunny
Mad Hatter: Gonzo
Dormouse: Rizzo
March Hare: Rowlf
Cheshire Cat: Dr. Teeth
Duchess: Miss Piggy
Cook: Swedish Chef
Footmen: Bunsen and Beaker
Tweedle Dee: Statler
Tweedle Dum: Waldorf
Mock Turtle: Kermit
Gryphon...
