Great shows and the classic cartoons were great too. I dunno about you all, but on our satellite we get a channel called Toon Disney, which sometimes airs shows like Tale Spin, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers and sometimes I see old Mickey Mouse cartoons. Is House of Mouse still on the air? They...
Hey, Snowthy. Come on! Let's just have a good awards show. He hasn't done anything here yet, so let's just try to have fun. Okay! We don't want to start any fights in this thread. Have a muffin! (tosses a fresh muffin to Snowth)
Hi, Beth. Hey, Kim. Of course you can sit here. You can sit right here next to me. This was supposed to be Big Bird's seat, but the people behind us were complaining that they couldn't see. So, he took Telly and went to sit towards the back.
I think that Elmo has matured a little bit since he first came about. I mean, when I see one of Elmo's early appearances, he seems much younger than he comes across now. Maybe it's more like character development than maturity. I dunno. It's happened with Baby Bear and Zoe too.
Bry: (dressed in tuxedo; knocks on Bert & Ernie's door) You guys ready? (opens the door)
Ernie: (in tuxedo) Tada! How do I look?
Bry: Lookin' good, my man! (high fives)
Bert: (also in tuxedo) What about me? Huh?
Bry: Very...spiffy, Bert.
Bert: Thank you.
Ernie: (laughing)...
You have a point, Heralde. Though if you observe, Big Bird has definitely matured a little bit in recent years. He is still a kid, but it seems he is more the big brother on the shownow to the other Muppets on the street like Elmo, Baby Bear, Zoe and even Telly, who are a bit younger. He is...
No, I don't believe Billy Joel is blind. Just think he wears those dark shades cuz he is just so cool. Besides, he drives a car. Then again...he is known for being a reckless driver these days. Ha!
Even if they did the adoption topic before, that was many years ago and today's kids have not seen that. Therefore, they need to bring the lesson back in a new way. However, I don't understand why Big Bird would not understand about adoption when he was there for Miles' adoption before. This...
Ernie: Looks like some of the other kids are going out for ice cream.
Bry: Where?
Ernie: Deep Freeze or Cold Comforts.
Big Bird: They could always go to Mr. Looper's Store.
Bry: That's Hooper, Big Bird.
Telly: Yeah, Hooper's Store has everything!
Bry: That's pretty much true. Well...
Bry: Boy, do my feet hurt!
Big Bird: Mine too.
Bry: I guess that's what we get for walking around a theme park all day.
Big Bird: Yeah.
Bry: Anything in the mail, Telly?
Telly: We have a letter.
Bry: From who?
Telly: I dunno, it's the Letter of the Day.
Bry: (opens envelop and...
There was also a kid on Sesame Street that was sort of a regular for a while. Her name was Tara and she was in a wheelchair. I don't remember what her handicap was though.
There was also a blind Muppet character (Aristotle was his name, I think)
I will continue to keep my eye open for you...
Boy, I do three. Back when we had normal cable, before we got satellite with a billion channels, you had to subscribe to the Disney Channel. For some reason we weren't subcribers, but once in a while we would get it for free when the channel would do the special advertisements trying to get...
Rosie O'Donnell has been advertising the TMX on The View for the past couple weeks. They are even auctioning off the first off the assembly line and giving the money to charity.
Yeah that was Hayley Mills as teacher Miss Bliss. That was when SBTB first started and the kids (Zack, Screech, Lisa, and a couple other kids) were in junior high. I think this was only for 1 or 2 seasons though. She was basically the lead character at the time.
