    Smartest/dumbest Fraggle

Okay... I'd pick Red as the cockiest. I'd probably pick either Mokey or Wembley as the nicest.

    Smartest/dumbest Fraggle

I understand the arguement. I was just stating how interesting it is that one person can consider a character to be the cockiest, while another would counteract that by claiming she is the nicest/sweetest. Just an observation.

    Smartest/dumbest Fraggle

Interesting how one person can dub a character to be the cockiest and sweetest at the same time. Oh well...

    Smartest/dumbest Fraggle

the word "scaredest" is not in my dictionary, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Doesn't really matter, just trying to make things easier to understand. Also, I don't think anyone here is telling each other they are right or wrong at all. We are stating our opinions in response to...

    Oscar and Cookie, and others...

I am trying to think of times that Bert and Oscar shared an exchange. I know they have been in scenes together, but actual dialogue between them is something different. I know they have interacted on some SS albums, like in the recording of Ernie singing "Imagination" and he has everyone close...

    Muppet Survivor 2

(reading the voting results) The last Muppet to be eliminated before the Finals is.... The Count. Count, the tribe has spoken. I regret to tell you that your time is up. We really enjoyed having you in the game and I congratulate you for lasting so long. The Muppet...

Susan is hardly ever around anymore :(

It is also possible that she is semi-retired from the business. Alaina Reed had quite a successful career in the musical theatre scene. She just chose to leave Sesame Street after about a decade to co-star in a sitcom. She moved in another direction. I am sure she could have returned to...

    Heeeeere's HERRY!

Oh, of course! All the time, especially back in the earlier days. Not sure how much direct interaction Herry has had with The Count considering they are both performed by Jerry Nelson and sometimes that gets to be complicated. I do know that Herry has interacted with Big Bird a number of...

    Smartest/dumbest Fraggle

Also, I don't know if cocky is really the right word for Mokey. She could be a little strong in her beliefs, but I don't consider that cocky. Cocky is more like being full of yourself or thinking you are the greatest. Red fits this description more than anybody of the Fraggle 5.
  10. BEAR

    Smartest/dumbest Fraggle

Well, this might clear up some confusion... Since "Scaredest" is not a word, let's change it to the "most cowardly".

No, Ed. It was not the Birdland house band. It was the Squirrel Nut Zippers.

Muppet College Dorms: The Next Semester

Bry: Good morning, guys! Grover, Maurice, did you sleep well? Maurice: I slept well. Grover: Oh, yes. Thank you. Bry: Good. Telly: Bryan, what's for breakfast? Bry: Well, what would everyone like? Big Bird: Birdseed Krispies. Bert: Oatmeal. Telly: French toast. Ernie...

    Blind Pew

The character always reminded me of a mixture between Crazy Harry and Count Von Count with the evilness of Uncle Deadly. Funny enough, they were all Jerry Nelson characters also.

I have been enjoying the site for a while now. What a wonderful resource! Thanks for sharing this with all of us. I'm happy that Kyle has donated some Sesame Street stuff to your site because then I won't have to bother him directly with getting songs.

Nice! One more item for my birthday/Christmas list too, Ed! Wow! So many wonderfully Muppety things coming out this Fall. We got season 2 of Fraggle Rock, then Kevin Clash's book, and soon we will be getting the Sesame Street old school set (seasons 1-5), Sesame Street Christmas Carol, and...

Prairie is also the longest lasting of the female Muppets on Sesame Street. She was introduced in the early 70s and is still an active principle player today in 2006.

    Celebrating Jerry Juhl!

Jerry Juhl was a genius. We just don't get that same blend of humor and heart anymore. He may be the last of the great script writers. Miss ya, Jerry!
