Thanks for the Don Music clip! "Next time won't you sing with the frog!" Hehe
I don't understand how I could have gone through Sesame Street as a child and never see him. ::shrugs:: But I always like watching his bits now. He sort of reminds me of myself. No, I don't go around banging my head...
I believe it was 1990, which explains Bill Cosby is playing Waldorf in the last scene, since Jim wasn't there to do it. "Cliff's Nightmare" is a great episode, I remember watching it the first time it aired. It was so funny and unexpected. :halo:
Wow, I didn't know about that website, that's so cool!
I just noticed this clip on youtube.com, it's a Sesame Street clip with Richard singing the lead. This looks about '80s, judging by the fashion! I obviously don't know if Richard was also puppeteering in this case, but I was amazed at...
I really like the one where Sam is speaking out against protecting endangered species. He holds up a list of the animals saying, "I have here a list!!!" That's supposed to be a parody of Joseph McCarthy's Communist hunt ("I have here in my hand a list of 57 people that were...members of the...
Well, I voted "Not Annoying" for Richard once out of loyalty (;)). And it's great that his score is better now. But the site doesn't bother me that much. It's just supposed to be funny. And it picks on everybody. Plus, the "Why He Might Not Be Annoying" part is all very complimentary.
I agree, he almost always seemed to play "quasi bad boy" characters, like Sweetums and Junior Gorg. Or loud, crazy characters like Don Music and Forgetful Jones. Characters who are sort of intimidating at first but nice up close.
Great stuff from Wikipedia! Just when I thought there was...
1. The Christmas Toy - As I said in another thread somewhere, I used to own this special and watched it all the time. I love the themes of friendship and never giving up. I was also a little scared of it with the dark hallway shots and toys being frozen. But looking back, it made you care more...
I'm kinda conflicted. Starting with Muppet Christmas Carol, I have been disapointed with the more recent Muppet films. I don't want to judge KSY or Muppets Wizard of Oz before seeing them. However, I don't want to waste my money, just to be more disapointed.
I told my friends I definitely...
When I was little I had The Christmas Toy on tape. I used to watch it all the time. But at the same time it was really scary, with all the dark hallway shots and the toys being frozen and all. As much as I liked it, it really used to bother me Lol. I'm not positive but I think I actually taped...
That's fine if it's her favorite part of the show. As long as she knows what the show is called, that's all. :)
I too am surprised, as someone mentioned earlier, that parents never seem to mind certain characters'...um...speech difficulties.
Yeah I doubt this will be go through. But it is still disapointing that they choose to take that stance against PBS. PBS is one of the few stations left that has quality programming.
I saw that episode recently. I said to my father, "Do you recognize her?"
He didn't at first, then I told him it was Maria from Sesame Street and he said, "Oh yeah!!!" lol
