    The RHLC!

I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't heard of Richard until a few years ago. That changed after reading the informative and very touching Tribute section of Muppet Central. I think I was intrigued by his story, how he was only 18 when he joined the Muppets and ended up such an important member of the...

    Ever wonder about Nanny

When I was little I had this crazy dream where Nanny looked sort like Beaker...no idea why lol

Heres the link to an episode.

This was one of my favorite Muppet Babies episodes from way back. I loved Baby Gonzo and he learns such an important lesson in this episode about sharing and telling the truth. It definitely made an impression on me. Thanks so much for posting that! :concern:

What's Your favorite Electric Mayhem Muppet Show song?

My personal favorites are from the Paul Simon episode of The Muppet Show when Floyd and Janice sing "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover" and the whole band plays "Loves Me Like a Rock." I also love Floyd and Janice performing "Act Naturally" on The Muppets Go to the Movies. They always sound great...

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

I remember watching The Muppets Farewell to Jim Henson, though I must have been 7 at the time. It was so sweet when they sang at the end and suddenly Kermit walks in. It was funny, when Kermit started talking it seemed perfectly normal, I completely forgot for a minute that Jim was gone. It was...

I have MADE an ASTOUNDING DISCOVERY

I taped the "Secrets of the Muppets" special when it was shown on Nickelodeon's "Muppet Matinee", circa 1993. I wish Nick still had that! "Secrets of the Muppets" is great for fans interested in behind the scenes stuff (even if some of it is out of date now, like the computer effects). My...

    Muppet Babies memories

That's when I watched Muppet Babies too, just before Pee Wee's Playhouse on Saturday mornings. I remember the animation episode, Muppet Babies was great the way they always managed to stick cultural references into the show. I knew how to make cartoons move very early in life Lol. :)

Richard Hunt It's been 14 years

I'm ashamed to admit I hadn't heard of Richard until a few years ago. That changed after reading the informative and very touching Tribute section of Muppet Central. He definitely seemed to represent a lot of the Muppet's edge, something they've lost nowadays. Of course, whether I knew his...

    The most tear-jerking Muppet moment...

Ok, I've been trying hard to find something to top "Saying Goodbye" but I think that's pretty much the big one. Actually, The Muppets Take Manhattan is very touching and emotional overall. The Great Muppet Caper was great but quite cynical; in contrast Muppets Take Manhattan is all about the...

New Members: Please Post and Introduce Yourself

Hi, everybody! I registered on this site in 2002 and posted a few times, but lost track at some point. So I thought I'd check back in. :) This site is great, it's encouraging to see so many people still interested in The Muppets. The Muppets were a huge part of my childhood, I even still have...

    Fraggle Rock film in development

I was surprised about the news of a Fraggle movie, as were all my friends. They're very cynical about the idea. I am too but I'm trying to be optimistic, against all odds. :smirk: I'm embarrassed to say I completely forgot about the fraggle meaning of "outer space" and initially thought it was...

    The Madtv Sesame parody description

Hi, I haven't been on here for awhile. I just watched the Mad TV skit, very funny parody, the attention to detail was frightening. I actually thought Cookie Monster looked cute with a flatter head lol.

    This new format S*X

I don't know, this is just my opinion, but I'd rather be scared by short skits than be incredibly bored and uninspired by longer ones :)

Do you remember THESE live-action tunes?

la At the Museum of Television and Radio I saw some live segments I'd forgotten all about like kids teaching how to build sand castles and this little boy who likes sports and dance classes.

Sesame Street Unpaved Episodes #536 and #560

I went there the other day, it's great. I saw the 69 pilot episode. Big Bird was so weird, his voice was different and he barely had any feathers on his head! Also the dialogue seems a little more spontaneous as oppose to now where everything seems so scripted.
