Hmm, well I haven't seen Grinch, and Cat in the Hat was the worst movie experience of my life (though I'm glad other people liked it). I hope Horton turns out to be better.
I'm not sure the '70s thing is so important, when I watched the Muppets as a kid I had no idea they were supposed to be hippies. They were just in a band.
I think there's been enough updating, heh. Just because something's old doesn't mean it should be thrown away. Playing to the current...
I thought Brian Henson did a good job with Scooter. He didn't really sound like Scooter but he had the personality down, which is often more important.
I'm honestly not sure I can bring myself to rent MWoO. I'm sure there are good parts, but in general it all might be just too painful.
1. Sorry, don't really want to answer question 1
2. Yes, I have loved the Muppets for as long as I can remember. :)
3. Given those choices, I say Gonzo, I've always admired him for being different and funny. :concern:
4. D. 20 Wow, I didn't realize I had that many, though technically they are...
Yeah, I love his moment with Scooter, as well as the Viking number, and when the performers are reading the script, when Richard and Jerry are sitting together.
I never saw that crack one I think, and I'm glad I didn't because enough stuff on Sesame Street gave me nightmares! For me, that was just part of being a Muppet fan as a child, knowing that every now and then you'd be scared to death! I loved The Christmas Toy, but I was also occasionally too...
Hi again, Amanda! Glad to hear from you again. That's a great story. The MMOA's gift shop is a great place for presents. Your story really inspires me to be more generous in general, you know what I mean?
A question, hmm, well some of the "Muppet biographies" I've read in books or the web...
::shrugs:: My favorite when I was little was always Ernie. But as I got older I found myself liking Bert more, I started feeling sorry for him everytime Ernie did something annoying, lol. Bert's humor is to be annoyed and frustrated, it's definitely funny.
It's the media, they grab on to stories and build them up. Like the story about Abby in the newspaper.
Although, maybe they did that just so we WOULD want to see her again. You know absence makes the heart grow fonder....
