3. The part where Big Bird is waiting for Santa on the roof...
Thanks for letting us know about the Scooter narration, Beau. Can't wait to listen!
Meep, I like the Dora the Explorer paper idea! Good luck with that! And I'm sure Richard would appreciate the Beaker one.
Great story, Amanda. It was the thought that counted, hehe.
It's really sweet though, that Richard was using the money he was making to get things for his family or help them.
Hmm, did he have a favorite TV show?
Thanks for the pics! They scared me a little initially, but I'm sure they're less frightening when they move! Heh, I think Horton's eyes remind me of Jim Carrey's!
I used to have the Great Performances special on tape. I saw it again recently at The Museum of TV and Radio. I don't know why this time was different, but towards the end as they sort of summed up Jim's legacy and the closing credits came up, I really started getting teary eyed.
Cool! Yeah I think that started on the website findagrave.com (Lovely name right?)
The site mentions a burial at St. John's. But like you said before, they probably thought that because that's where the memorial was.
I actually don't mind day time too much, I guess it's a guilty pleasure.
But I literally can't watch anything during the prime time hours on network TV. And even Cable is starting to go down in quality. I don't know who they think is watching this stuff.
Well, I guess we can't be the most successful thread in the world everyday! ;)
Well, I found this awhile ago, but might as well post it now, Disco D!

I agree, they've tried to be hip and modern, as a result their movies are no longer an automatic crowd pleaser and they're just not the Muppets anymore. It is ultimately better to be yourself.
I liked Hitchhiker's alright, though it wasn't amazing. But I hadn't read the book and I know people who read the book first were very disapointed.
CGI Horton sounds better than live action, so we'll see. I'll just be more cautious this time.
And it's so hard to tell if Horton will be good. I saw previews for Cat in the Hat for weeks and it looked great. And then I actually saw it in a theater. I couldn't wait to leave, I was actually upset that I had to stay and keep watching. And I've never felt that way about a movie in my life.
I used to watch Dumbo's cirus, and Pooh Corner (which had the same full-bodied puppet characters). And Under the Umbrella Tree was one of my favorite shows, I watched it all the time.
There's nothing wrong with feeling old when you're entertainment was the best! :)
Very true. I can see Hollywood completely missing the point of Catcher in the Rye.
Yeah the animated specials were great. I just rented The Grinch Grinches the Cat in the Hat the other day. Really, you can't do better.
I haven't seen MWoO, but those are the reviews I keep hearing, making me think I'll never see it. But the Muppets were going that way before Disney came along. I just don't think new projects are worth it if that's what's coming out. They should be concentrating on giving the old stuff more...
