    A Children's Television Workshop disclaimer?

I know this may not be the one in question, but since we were talking about scary logos, I remember seeing this one on a few old videos. I've noticed it's acquired the name "Flash of Doom" around the Internet! http://youtube.com/watch?v=Evz73PXy01I&mode=related&search= ...the robots are...

    A Children's Television Workshop disclaimer?

I love all those logos, even though they tend to be a bit scary. Personally, the music they tended to use in those old logos makes me think of electronics and robots, like the dangers of technology! "The problem's plain to see. Too much technology. Machines to save our lives. Machines...

    Some more goodies on YouTube

Yeah, I loved this clip too, Skye. I never saw an Alphabet Chats as a kid for some reason. I really like the theme song. Well, I guess mistakes are bound to happen when you have so many letter-themed sketches per day! lol

    The RHLC!

I'm sorry that happened too, it's very upsetting when radiation only makes an illness worse. My prayers are with your family. :)

    Super Bowl XLI

I agree, I never watch sports on TV, it's more fun in person! i don't play much though, I'm not athletically inclined, heh. When I do, it's just to have fun with friends.

    Super Bowl XLI

I think they're both good exciting sports. I can't watch football (like with the pig skin) for very long to be honest, but I think it's a very American game. And that's good, we don't need to be exactly like the rest of the world. :)

    Follow That Bird

The emotions were so real in that movie. Even though these were real people talking about puppets, you absolutely believed in their pain and happiness. Sesame Street was very good at that.

    A Children's Television Workshop disclaimer?

I know which one you guys are talking about, the music at the end. It was kinda scary, just very loud and intense. Then again, maybe the people on jumptheshark meant this CTW logo: http://youtube.com/watch?v=2mPIY6O-hjQ Even if not, that was pretty unsettling!

Yeah, those large social situations are always awkward. Glad it was nice in the end though!

    The RHLC!

Hehe, that's funny about the Kermit and Scooter dolls falling. It reminds me of my Barbie and Ken dolls. I would always have them innocently hugging, but when I'd put them down on the floor, it sort of looked like they were making out...which I didn't want! lol

"The Muppets Take Manhattan" on TMC's "31 Days of Oscar" (02/09/07)

It was nominated for Best Music, Original Song Score (Jeff Moss) in 1985. Very good choice, it's a movie that utilized its music so well throughout the story. http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Academy_Awards

"The Muppets Take Manhattan" on TMC's "31 Days of Oscar" (02/09/07)

Oh, that's awesome! I'm really glad MTM's getting that kind of attention during the award season. I wonder what they'll say about it. I wish I still had TCM, it's a great channel, so many extras and no commericals!

    Follow That Bird

I always cried at the part where Maria says, "Don't forget Big Bird, we love you!" and that sad music plays...excuse me...::sniff::

    Muppet Central...return...

One thing that's important to remember: the only person you can control is yourself. If someone is bothering you, you don't have to talk back, that just keeps it going. Just ignore them. It takes two (or more) to start an argument. :)

    Bein Green vs. Rainbow Connection

Yeah, I still think that Bein' Green is actually Kermit's theme, even if Rainbow Connection is the better song.

    Something really funny

Totally agree! British humor is often more subtle and takes time to get used to. As opposed to the cheap laughs so many shows and movies go for.
