I know this may not be the one in question, but since we were talking about scary logos, I remember seeing this one on a few old videos. I've noticed it's acquired the name "Flash of Doom" around the Internet!

...the robots are...
I love all those logos, even though they tend to be a bit scary. Personally, the music they tended to use in those old logos makes me think of electronics and robots, like the dangers of technology!
"The problem's plain to see. Too much technology. Machines to save our lives. Machines...
Yeah, I loved this clip too, Skye. I never saw an Alphabet Chats as a kid for some reason. I really like the theme song. Well, I guess mistakes are bound to happen when you have so many letter-themed sketches per day! lol
I agree, I never watch sports on TV, it's more fun in person! i don't play much though, I'm not athletically inclined, heh. When I do, it's just to have fun with friends.
I think they're both good exciting sports. I can't watch football (like with the pig skin) for very long to be honest, but I think it's a very American game. And that's good, we don't need to be exactly like the rest of the world. :)
The emotions were so real in that movie. Even though these were real people talking about puppets, you absolutely believed in their pain and happiness. Sesame Street was very good at that.
I know which one you guys are talking about, the music at the end. It was kinda scary, just very loud and intense.
Then again, maybe the people on jumptheshark meant this CTW logo:

Even if not, that was pretty unsettling!
Hehe, that's funny about the Kermit and Scooter dolls falling. It reminds me of my Barbie and Ken dolls. I would always have them innocently hugging, but when I'd put them down on the floor, it sort of looked like they were making out...which I didn't want! lol
It was nominated for Best Music, Original Song Score (Jeff Moss) in 1985. Very good choice, it's a movie that utilized its music so well throughout the story.

Oh, that's awesome! I'm really glad MTM's getting that kind of attention during the award season. I wonder what they'll say about it. I wish I still had TCM, it's a great channel, so many extras and no commericals!
One thing that's important to remember: the only person you can control is yourself. If someone is bothering you, you don't have to talk back, that just keeps it going. Just ignore them. It takes two (or more) to start an argument. :)
