I personally love the movie, and that scene in the particular. I thought Arthur came across very sweet and interesting. The only problem for me in the movie was Lancelot, kinda hard to watch.
Lol, that's funny, MN!
Ploobis: Hey! We did it! We're back on the show! All hail the mighty Favog!
Favog: Wasn't me...must have been divine intervention with a little help from Henson!
Wisss: Far out, man...
In the past, you saw more adult looking people on TV and movies. There's been a recent shift to where we only get to see really young looking people. The new Superman was an example of that. It's just this odd idea that young is better, even if it's totally inappopriate for the character.
Beakerfan, it's hard to risk hurting someone's feelings, and I don't know the whole story, but a relationship has to be where both people are happy, otherwise it's not worth it. Just take some time to think it over, make sure you know what you really want. And don't panic because you think...
I think Cotterpin's very observant and would notice quickly that Junior's clearly very young, despite his height, and could be given a talking to!
But yes SuperScooter, that's assuming Junior could even FIND Cotterpin!
"Fraggle Wars" was an awesome episode! I understand that the point of the...
Oh yes, "guitar groups are on their way out, Mr. Epstein!" Heh, Dick Rowe was probably thinking Elvis was going to continue being the wave of the future. But you never can tell!
I've read books about the entertainment industry; apparently the "higher ups" tend to think they know a hit from a...
Yeah, Jim clearly wanted the Del character to be modeled off of Richard. He does a really good job, you want to watch him every moment he's on the screen (and I'm not saying that just because I'm already a RHLC member, heh) It's interesting to wonder what would have happened if the show had...
What is your favortie Sesame Street time period? The 1980s I suppose
Who is your favorite monster? The adorable Grover!
What are your favorite SS songs? "I Don't want to live on the moon", "Have you ever looked at a paperclip," Christmas Even on SS and FtB soundtracks, Swing up High, You're...
Yeah I know what you mean about kids wanted to dress all wild in public. Abby does sort of remind me of that too. I don't think I'd mind if kids dressed up like her for Halloween, I am sick of seeing the Elmo costumes, heh.
I imagine they decided on the title Puppetman for the show as a way to describe the main character, Gary. How first and foremost, he's a puppeteer, a puppetman, and he's proud of it. It's pretty much all there in the summary.
Hehe, that's cool anyway. It's interesting to learn about why your family looks or acts a certain way.
Ok, I recently got to see Puppetman again, the unsold Henson pilot Richard participated in. So I thought I'd share a bit of what it was actually about. (Note, this would contain SPOILERS!)...
I think there was so much buzz about Abby, not so much because she was a new popular character, but mainly due to the controversy of her being a "princess" character and whether that was flattering to a girl's image. Not that I wish to get into that again, heh.
That is a great quote, one of the coolest. And that's great that you're a psychology major, Skye, there's so much to study. I'm curious, do you ever read something and start getting paranoid, like thinking, "Oh man, they're talking about me!" I've been told it happens to everyone who studies Psych.
One part I think I've got down is the very last line of the song, "This particularly rapid and intelligable patter isn't generally heard and if it is it doesn't matter!" Oh man, brilliant!
One of my favorite lines is kinda random, when the police appear from the trees towards the end, "Yes we...
