I'm wondering if it was John Tartaglia. He was the alternate Ernie in Play with me Sesame. The sound's a little too muffled to confirm if it's him or not.
I really hope the AntiTrust blocks this. Disney owns ENOUGH! The last thing we need is them owning Lucasfilm. Disney has done well with Muppets and Marvel, but they need to be cut off. Just for the matter of them owning too many media outlets. I think that the damage is done, and out of...
Actually it was more like no one really cared. They were still on television, but the residual checks kept getting smaller.
In context of the movie The Muppets, it seems to work well. It's not so much they were hated, so much that the fair weather fans, while they still love them, forgot...
But you get your choice of terrible, stale popcorn flavors. And the funny thing is, it has a microwave attached. You don't even have to play the game! How come we never get cool stuff like that in our arcades?
Well, it could also be the fact that
But other than that, it sounds like a...
There's a strange technicality that Sonic was indeed an arcade game a few times.
Sonic the Fighters
and Sega Sonic the Hedgehog
Neither are available in the US as arcade games, and only Sonic the Fighters got a console release in a "Best of" compilation. The other had a trackball, and...
VMX had a sizable non-Muppet fan viewership. The ratings were spectacular, and they completely beat a crappy Brady Bunch movie on the same night. When it wasn't trying to be the Christmas version of Scary Movie type films (in context, that worked for then), it did have its moments. It was...
I don't think there should be any thing to worry about with a second Studio DC. Disney Tween Pop shows still exist, but not to the extent they did back in 2005.
There are too many of those that actually need to be on DVD. I call them "everything on Fox Kids that wasn't Power Rangers or Digimon." You don't know how much I want Secret files of the Spydogs JUST to say to people who liked the movie Cats and Dogs that it was a ripoff.
I honestly do love...
And people hate on Corporal Capeman.
Poor, poor Corporal Capeman. Making a joke far before it's time.
What am I saying? Clearly, Arthur needed some sort of hybrid between Sandy Cheeks from Spongebob and Pip from Animaniacs. I can't wait for Ladonna to drone on about Baloney and Cheeseball...
The Artist formerly known as Frogboy made some good points, but I really don't think Frankenweenie deserved to do as poorly as it did, especially since the main competition was Hotel Transylvania. I mean, HT was a fun movie and all, and certainly the most polished turd Sony gave us so far. But...
I hope the script allows for more core character interaction this time. There was a lot of time with Piggy and Kermit and Kermit and Fozzie... Gonzo was plot blocked all the way. Especially since they made him the brick joke of resolution, which should have really came before the end credits...
Funny thing, though. While I couldn't remember the character from The Muppet Show, I saw a picture of Gloat the Frackle on one of the Muppet record album sleeves. And when I saw that, I thought Gloat was the that thing that happened to Elmo of Kermit.
About that sig.
To be fair, MFS could have been a good movie had we a decent director that understood what the Muppets were about and left Joey's pass of the script alone. VMX (I really like, VMX BTW) isn't bad considering the style of humor didn't age too well, and it really calls itself a...
Partially right. It's a mashup of ALL the Christmas specials and references and cliches they could get away with at one time. The film came out when people were actually watching and liking the Scary Movie series, so you can tell where the humor comes from. It's hit or miss, some stuff...
Exactly. Sorry Princeton, but even if I hated the film, it still would pale in comparison to how freaking terrible Muppet Oz was. At worst, The Muppets was an ascended fan fic. A well meaning fan fic, at that. To blame the lack of Rowlf in it makes no sense, as they're easing the character...
I could probably answer that, but is it the TV special or is it an episode of the cartoon series you're looking for? I could help you if you're a little specific.
You know what? I think I can predict a future Muppet Central Forum member mentioning Belly Breathe. The one where Elmo turns into a deranged monster version of himself?
Now, personally, I found Frazzelmo the greatest thing ever in the universe, and I'd buy a T-shirt, plush toy, plastic...
I could see where that is confusion. Though, the previous Old School sets had the credit crawls as part of the classic cuts, since these episodes included were all Monday aired season premiers. In fact, it wasn't up until last decade when the Sesame Street credits came after every episode.
