I still remember, early on reading about this number on Your Face! and being very intrigued, hehe. Then it was even better than I pictured. It's a fairly random little sketch (this is the Muppets), but it just works (the...
Hey, some people are nostalgic for the Lost in Space TV series. But Star Trek is clearly the superior show, hehe. It's all about memories rather than the quality of the show itself. :)
Thankfull no one's stared at me yet, I just always think they are, lol. I have had a few good reactions from cashiers, "Oh yeah, Muppet Show!"
One time a waitress complimented me on my good taste as I was watching Fraggle Rock on my portable DVD player.
A co-worker once reassured a friend...
Hmm, well those annoying '80s synthesizer trumpet sounds during Junior's "Yes Sir, No Sir" song, that was kinda painful, lol.
No but seriously, yeah it is hard to come up with truely painful moments here...
Well yes I'd be lieing if I said I never felt uncomfortable. Sometimes I do start saying to myself, "It ok! I'll just tell them it's for a relative!" Lol I guess it's normal.
Definitely noticed the left hand philosophizing thing, lol. I'm not really as familiar with the newer performers movements. Some of my friends tell me I'm crazy, like all the puppets are the same, you can't possibly tell who is who. But we know better don't we? Hehe Amazing how many...
I remember reading that in several textbooks, that '50s movies also suffered because of a new invention called Television. Why would people want to leave their houses? Hehe
That is true, Technicolor did exist in the '30s, good point. I guess I was thinking of 1950s movies like Singing in the Rain, where they were really trying to show off the saturation of color.
I definitely think there were some good '50s movies, don't get me wrong. But there are quite a few...
In that interview with Dave Goelz that was online a few days ago, Dave talked about how he could tell which puppeteer was which in a scene, based purely on individual puppet movements. He mentioned that Jerry doesn't do as many mouth flaps as the others (I actually had noticed this before) and...
Well sometimes the reason is they themselves feel uncomfortable liking kid's stuff; they know they'd get made fun of. So then they're resentful when other people enjoy their interests with no fear.
Or sometimes you just resent something you don't understand. At least that's been my experience. :)
Hehe, well I just made this joke once on the RHLC that Don Music went to stress management therapy class, explaining why some of his later sketches were suddenly so tame, lol.
As someone pointed out on youtube, Leo's party line was in desperate need for the invention of the cell phone!
Agreed, something so important takes time and maturity. Your life can change in so many ways in college and afterward. And many successful couples begin simply as friends.
Personally I wouldn't look on the web, too many potential problems. I just mean it's not that big a deal if you don't find someone in school right away. :)
Yeah Leo probably ended up at the same therapy class as Don Music, lol.
Still, I like that clip's message. When you have a discussion, you have to accept that people will have different ideas. You can't just dismiss them. And you might learn something new. Message board users everywhere can...
It could just be he was busy and not able to attend. Though sometimes actors slowly phase out of a show, even though their name is still on the cast list. Just have to wait and see. Hope he pops up. :)
It doesn't sound pitiful, most people are lucky to have one in their life! :)
High School really is a limited enviornment, it's doesn't represent real life or the rest of your future.
Not trying to minimize your problem, just saying don't panic, hehe.
