    Dave's Appropriate and Distanced Admirers

We've talked about that on the RHLC, how the perfomers often seemed to use the puppets to express themselves. :)

The Best 5 years of Sesame Street

I have trouble picking 5 years. I do agree with Drtooth that from its conception to around the early '90s was the best time. But I will try and think further on the topic. :)

    Dave's Appropriate and Distanced Admirers

Very true, Gonzo was always my favorite character when I was a kid, he was just so bizarre and funny. It's a great achievement to take a troublesome character and develop him into something so creative and popular. :)

Which Sesame CD's are out of production?

It does depend on what store you happen to walk into. I was looking through one random Barnes and Noble and to my amazement they had the soundtrack to Follow That Bird! I personally hadn't seen it in any other store and didn't even realize it was available. I also found 1978 Sesame Street...

It sort of reminds me of when Davy Jones visited Marcia on the Brady Bunch, lol. I mean, those kinds of things just don't happen!

Do Folks Do This To You..?

Well I think it's both. It's true that "questionable" art sometimes get all the attention over "quality" pieces simply because it's shocking. I bring up free speech also though, because sometimes it seems like all free speech is protecting these days is nonesense. It could be because we in...

    The RHLC!

Oddly enough I was never afraid of Sweetums, lol. And I grew up watching the old Frog Prince special (where he actually plays a villian). I'm not even sure why I was afraid of Beaker, I think it was the way his head was shaped and then just my child brain not understanding why he couldn't talk...

Do Folks Do This To You..?

That's one of the few problems I have with free speech. It seems it's often stuck defending the ridiculous.

Oh yeah that's right! I don't know why that particular one stuck in my head, it was just very memorable, hehe. Yes it's often the simple quite times together than can spark creativity. :) Ahh, that is nice. ;) Haha, funny thing is I don't even like Bunsen! But Beaker sort of smiled at me...

I've often had that sense of panic when collecting as well, hehe. Good luck! :)

Aw, that's just cute lol. Yeah that is how I often picture Richard, talking to the Muppets, even the ones that aren't his own, since like they said in Of Muppets in Men, he was good at "summoning them to life" as well. ;) No no the list is a good idea, maybe at some point we can get around to...

Which Sesame CD's are out of production?

Most of them are difficult to find, unless you go to places like Ebay or Amazon. And the greatest hits CDs that are out mostly feature Elmo, heh.

    The RHLC!

I know what you mean, I had a dream just last night that I noticed another performer cameo in a Muppet movie (I believe Floyd and Janice were sitting on a fence or something Then later you can see Richard and Jerry on the dolley thing, of course it was a little too obvious for a cameo, but hey...
