Just thought you all should know

Finding a job that fits you is always difficult, especially when you're first starting out. I hope your job hunt proves fruitful. Just remember that everyone goes through this at some point, you're not alone. :)

    Painful Fraggle Moments

Yes me too! It was like one of those moments where you almost feel awkward watching it because it is such an emotional moment and you're "intruding". Btw, that was actually the first part of the finale, Honk of Honks, which Richard Hunt directed. :)

Papa Roy Turns 100 Years Old!

Cool, that's quite a milestone. And it's great that his memory is still good. :)

    Dave's Appropriate and Distanced Admirers

I really like Dave's story in the Muppets, especially after hearing that recent radio interview. How he was intimitated by the guest stars on Muppet Show and always felt like an imposter in the recording studio (though I think he's always great with a song!). He's a regular guy who was given the...

Jim Henson's Mother Goose Stories on DVD Tuesday!

I saw the DVD just last weekend. I'm still deciding whether to get it. I do have fond memories of the show though. :)

Who Should Appear on "Inside the Actors Studio"?

Very true! Heh, Inside the Actors Studio usually only caters to famous people though. Heh.

Could use some good thoughts & hugs (this is long)

I know how you feel, I had a bad dream recently and I knew it was irrational, but it still deeply bothered me the whole day.

    The RHLC!

Lol hmm, that's interesting! And rather gross in Piggy's case! I wonder why Fozzie was a salad! Maybe because people tend to throw tomatoes at him? Wocka, Wocka! :o

Did Willard Scott create Ronald McDoanld?

Well he did play the very first Ronald McDonald on TV. :)

Could use some good thoughts & hugs (this is long)

My prayers and good thoughts are with your family! I know that kind of thing can be frightening sometimes, but I personally don't believe it's possible to predict when bad things will happen. :)

    Sesame Street Parody Ideas

That's true, they were doing 1950s style tunes during the 1970s shows with no problem (though at the time the '50s were making a come back in pop culture in general).

    Sesame Street Parody Ideas

Well if they did do a parody of Queen, it would probably get the parents to watch with their kids. ;)

What sketches scared you as a kid?

Lol, no you're just lucky! I was watching my copy of SS Old School in the middle of the night once. The sound of the voice-over in Jazzy Spies saying "2...2....2222...2!" is definitely extra creepy at night! Lol

    The RHLC!

I actually did do a paper once on gender and race models in children's entertainment, interesting stuff! I found that in regards to race, most kids shows make the attempt to be equal. But as far as gender stereotypes, we still have a long way to go, lol. Absolutely! The episode may not be...

    The RHLC!

It does upset me that companies have such little respect for history and high quality work. And the assumption that somehow "updating" a classic song will make it better. I mean, if you want classic, create something good of your own. Don't try and redo someone else's work. It almost never turns...

    Other Fraggles in the rock

Aw sorry, Terry! But I did notice Morris on an episode of Season 3 the other day! :)

    The RHLC!

I recall hearing the original before, but I can't say who was doing all the singing. I don't know why they keep redoing these songs and skits (not that I don't like hearing Jerry sing).

    Painful Fraggle Moments

Actually I have one, Uncle Gobo from "Born to Wander." He was just completely unlikeable. If I was Matt, I would have stopped following him a long time ago. And I thought Pa Gorg was bad, lol. I think Matt and Junior could have a few things to discuss!

    Fraggle Parents?

It was said in a couple of interviews that the show's creators started out including Fraggle babies on the show, at least during the them song (hence implying parents). But then that raised questions of how Fraggles were born. They weren't sure how to go about explaining that so they stopped...
