Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Yeah I know, that really surprised me! But it's nice to finally see your feelings supported on paper (or at least on the web) lol. ::prays very hard:: ;)

    Beaker's Appearance in Wired!

I agree about Scully, I don't see why she's called a "sidekick." I'm on the fence about Spock. I agree, technically Captain Kirk is the lead on the show. But Mr. Spock is very close to being his equal rather than a "sidekick."

Aw, not selfish. We all have our personal favorites. And hey, Beau did have a big part in GMC, which this guy keeps going on about. ;)

    David Rudman interview

Thanks for posting! It's great to get to know him and his show a bit more, which looks really cute, hehe. Though that interview's comment about college kids was weird, lol.

Btw I adore the Easter menu as usual! :super:

That's a good point. Though I have heard of other instances where the Christian church has made references to different types of beliefs or mythology over the years, because they help make a point.

What is your favorite easter cartoon?

All the Rankin and Bass ones are wonderful. Another great one is The Fat Albert Easter special. It really captures the whole point of Easter; making mistakes, being forgiven, new life coming from tragedy. It's amazing!

    Besides Jim Henson's kid shows.....

Today's Special was amazing; so sweet, yet often moody and deep at times. I miss that unique element in kids shows. :)

I found the initial reaction he received rather humorous, lol. But good for him for keeping at it. ;)

Great article, and I love that photo! I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for this one. But whatever happens, this has been a good feeling. :)

I've realized I complain/vent too much in here

Oh I totally understand, I often wonder in my regular life if I vent at people too much. I mean it's great to have friends who care and will listen, but at the same time, you don't want to feel like a bother, lol. But you're fine, don't worry about it. :)

Yeah as I said, the walking out thing is pretty rare. That's why I try to find out as much as I can before seeing something. ;)

Unfortunately, I haven't been as confident with the newer projects, though they all have good points. I am crossing my fingers with this one. :)

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Yeah, if only the movie theaters would give you your money back! Hehe I also want to be able to say I actually saw the movie and actually judged it. In one of these cases, I just got so offended and depressed, I had to leave for my own sanity.

Lol, no it's OK. I usually would never think of walking out early of a movie. But in two cases, I felt I had no other choice, lol.

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Well you know, I try to do a combination of professional reviews and reviews from the fans etc. It's just that I've had two experiences in my life where I went to see two (non Muppet) movies that turned out to be dreadful. I literally walked out on one. And I want to avoid that at all costs, lol.

Disney Enlists Segel & Stoller for new Muppets movie

Well it's this sort of debate that comes up occasionally. Just because some fans are critical of the newer projects, doesn't mean they don't support the Muppets as a whole. :) As for seeing the movie once it is done, I probably will wait for just a few reactions before seeing it. Trailers can...

Hmm, to be honest, I can't pick any of those at the moment. I mean, I can only hope it will be good, but I can't take a definite position. :)

Has a New Law Been Passed or Something?

Nope, definitely not me either, lol. I abstained out of protest. ;) But anyway, yeah I guess companies are being told to be more and more strict with the I.D. thing. I mean, all cashiers really should check to make sure a person's signature on their credit card matches the signature they give...
