Have you seen any of the behind the scenes Fraggle specials? They're the electronic hand mitten devices puppeteers use to control the Doozers and Gorgs from a distance.

Actually the words were electronically displaced on the seat in front of you! Very confusing at first, figuring out how to read the words and then watch the stage. Though it helped that the reading took quicker than the actual singing! I love the operetta Pirates of Penzance and when you think...
True, not the brightest of topics. But I'm grateful I saw it, it shows that being happy isn't about having your life turn out all perfect. It's about how you react to the bad things in your life. So in a way it is a cherry notion. That you can conquer anything that life gives you and take...
Well you know, it's not about what we bring up so much, it's the manner we all choose to discuss it. There's nothing wrong with the topics themselves. :)
Heh, that's cute! I wasn't into the show, but a lot of my friends were and had all the curtains and bed sheets and stuff, lol. Have to see what they think of it.
Well I can't say I've been a fan of all the new stuff. But I'm usually so vocal about it that my friends know the difference and don't associate everything they do with me, lol. And anyway, I can't take it too seriously. I know what parts of the Muppets I enjoy most, and that's all that should...
Well to be honest, I did kinda feel the elitism slightly, lol, which was rather amusing, in a Sam-ish sort of way. :attitude:
But as for boring, based on my experience, I think it's only boring if you don't make the effort and take the time to understand what's going on in the show. And...
Agreed. I honestly don't mind differences of opinion or the dissatisfaction of many fans. Too much pessimissm is bad, and so is too much optimism. We need both. But I do agree it needs to be discussed more civily. :)
Hmm I always saw the two of them as being sort of partners in the movie, with Hawkeye being a little more important. The movie basically follows him from beginning to end, while he meets the other characters.
But on the other hand, as far as the show, I agree, Alan Alda owned that role! Hehe...
Well sort of, I mean Hawkeye was already the main character, at least in the original movie he was. In the case of Elmo, he belonged to an ensemble cast where no one was really supposed to be the main lead. But now that's changed.
Good question! I think it definitely had potential. You get the impression Scooter's this young adult who, instead of getting to hang out with the grown ups, has to babysit this little bunny with a talent for upstaging (something ambitious Scooter wouldn't appreciate either!). Though I think by...
I honestly don't have enough experience hearing the newer performers. I have read interviews with some of them and it's clear they appreciate the history of the characters and all which is great.
It's odd but sometimes even when people don't want to be involved in projects, that often doesn't stop them from doing good jobs. But I do understand what you mean, a performer who admires the work Frank did and can do it justice would be welcome. :)
Right I do agree. Obviously, someone else would have to do the characters, and that's fine. But I'd still prefer him, whatever his attitude, he'd still be the best in my opinion. :)
Well yeah if he didn't want to, it wouldn't be an option. But he'd still be my first and probably only choice. That's not to be critical of anyone else, just saying what I would like to see.
I'm sure they could get other people who are eager and talented though and that would be great too. :)
Hehe yeah that would be cool if you could!
Wow, well I was lucky enough to get to see my very first opera last night! I've never been too familiar with the genre, but my friend had a extra ticket and we thought it would be fun. Plus, of course hehe, I thought it would be cool to check it out...
There's really not much doctors can do for a broken rip. It can even get worse if they try. It has to heal on its own.
I hope he has a speedy recovery!
Cool!
Though it is annoying how there seems to be this need to assure people that something won't be "too old." We're not doing kids any favors by telling them old equals bad. And we're going to end up paying for it down the line.
