From the exchange between Karen and the writer it sounds like they've either contracted the original puppeteers/voices or they are planning to try to. I would expect most voices to be the same but it may not be guaranteed they'll get everyone. It wouldn't be the same without the major people...
OMG, where did THAT come from? Love it! It seems to have been done for the Muppet site since it has the bluescreen background like the other vids and has references to being an online video.
Gotta admit i can see how it could have easily offended some people - some of the writing was a bit blatently stereotypical towards the gay community and i think they'd raise their eyebrows and say they can tell its written by two straght guys. I liked the idea of a puppet spoof of Hollywood...
There is something up with that video - as it says on the site - Eurodisney didn't exist until 1992 and thats a set they are on. It must be one of the first Henson/Disney collabs but i think the show details are innacurate.
Yeah its gotta be fun romance if they do romance, not clutzy romance. Exactly ... nuthin too serious. Disney Princess brand still seem to do the whole princess romance thing right still and the young girls love it but then they have all that Disney magic stuff, anybody else tries to do it...
From what ive seen the animation is beautiful, and i think it will have enough dialogue so as not to be totally confusing to kids. I like the concept, though i see the people behind it have been hesitant to make it because it centres around a love story, i also think they could maybe have taken...
Adding to this there is also a large range of character cards (no messages, just the character photos) being sold at branches of Hawkins Bazarr in the UK. They're like mini cards.
I liked it, i thought it was very current. Granted the writing wasn't great but i think it was a great concept and the style of puppets worked well with human actors. I agree it would be better as a sketch in a bigger show - a puppet/human sketch show could work well actually. I think Henson...
As somebody said i think in the other thread a few weeks back CSTOM is just the marketing guy, if there were any changes or anything was unsure he would give out a "business as usual, no specifics available yet" line - they always do that in these kinda situations. May not mean anythings...
Really sad news about Kermit Love, i was reading articles about him and looking at photos of a party with him a while back. He lived to a great age, and accomplished so much. It'd be nice for the site to pay tribute to him in some way.
