Grown ups telling us fairy tales

I remember quite a few of them. Mainly the concept was that Bob would tell a story to the kids, then at the end the king or whoever was in the story would show up and talk to Bob or something like that. A few of them that I remember were King Kenny the Kind, King Wastepaper and another King...

    Maria *inside* Oscar's trash can?

I remember quite a few eps where people went into Oscar's can. I remember Oscar had a friend named Bernie who was in there for some reason or other. There was also a lady friend of Elmo's who was playing hide-and-seek with him and she hid in the can. For some reason Oscar wasn't present...

Follow that Bird - Frank Oz

You probably meant to say that Frank was NOT present there. Anyway, just to clear things up the scene at Hooper's Store was before everybody started looking for Big Bird. I remember at first Super Grover was flying by himself, but later on he crash lands into Gordon's car. Cookie Monster was...

Why is Sesame Street slowly dying?

Hmmm. I wouldn't say the human cast is completely gone. After all, we always see Gordon in the Trash Gordon segment. Maria, Luis and Bob still show up pretty often as well. I see what you're saying though. They need to bring back the old format maybe with sketches like Masterpiece...

Did Skeeter have a crush on Gonzo?

Skeeter and Clifford? I guess I could see that. Actually, I remember a few Muppet Babies episodes where Skeeter seemed to be interested in Kermit, especially in the Cinderella episode much to Piggy's jealousy.

    Question about Snuffy...

I remember that music. I believe it was still played even after he was revealed to the adults. A few scenes I remember with Snuffy interacting with the adults were when he did the Snuffle Shuffle with Susan and the kids and when he told Gordon and Linda about the Snuffleupa-bus. But here's...

    Yep Yep Guys

Well, I remember they made an appearance in the Elmopalooza special and that wasn't too long ago.

Who will be on Sesame Street next season?

I don't know if they'll show the vaccuum cleaner one since that ends with Ernie getting mad at Herbert for no real reason other than the fact that he was afraid of what Herb would say if he asked to borrow the vaccuum. That one might give children a bad message. Besides, Herb hasn't been on...

Skit: CM gets tried on as a fur coat!

Wow. I've seen that one, but I didn't realize it was so old. I was thinking maybe '75 or '76 when Cookie Monster's personality was more established.

    Give Bert some respect

Are you referring too 'Shalom Sesame?' Quite a few of them have been released on video.

Sesame Street 4d: The Movie site!

I think I know what you mean. I remember years ago. I was on a field trip to the Franklin Institute and there was a show called an 'omnivision' where you would feel you are moving around when they show area on the screen move around. I imagine that Sesame Street 4D is probably like that.

    Bald Muppets

Yeah. I still get freaked out by those 30s cartoons with a bald Petunia Pig. Lol.

Follow that Bird - Frank Oz

I thought Brian left the show around 1980. I could be wrong on that though.

    Sesame Street 4D question

Yeah, I've read that at imdb.com. Apparently Carroll Spinney wasn't involved in this since Matt played Big Bird and John Tartiagola played Oscar. But I don't know much else about it.

    Dirth Nader & Miss Leah!

I know what you mean. It's from the fourth season, but I don't remember which episode that was specifically. You might want to check the Kermitage guide.

Sesame Muppets on international versions of SS

I didn't know the American Sesame Street characters crossed over to different counry's. Also, Da Niao looks exactly like Big Bird. That's strange. The only time I saw international Sesame Street characters on the American Sesame Street was during the New Year's special.

Follow that Bird - Frank Oz

I know what you mean and I heard that sound online. Grover did sound completely different, but I'm pretty sure Frank performed him in the movie. After all, we have the soundtrack and Frank's voice is on that.

    Give Bert some respect

That's interesting. I have Asperger's too, but I had no idea it was so common on these forums.

    The Count

It's possible. It said in the Sesame Encyclopedia that he once hypnotized Bert and Ernie. Could somebody give me more detail on that sketch? I haven't seen it. I just read about it.

The Baker Falling Down the Stairs Series

Hmmm. I remember that one. Though it's been years since I saw it.
