That was a good commercial. I can't wait to see it again.
Actually, it might have been someone else playing Animal, while Eric was playing Piggy. I'm just guessing.
I've heard the "Sax and Violence" song on some sound files on the web. Nigel sounded quite a bit like Kermit there. But that was Jim's Nigel. I don't know how John's Nigel sounds though.
Wow! How long ago was this? On the 20th Anniversay Special, she said that she was a track star or something. Or maybe that was Fanny, either way I don't remember either of the girls saying anything about filmmaking. That's very interesting.
Hmmm. In response to the previous posts, I don't know. It's sort of hard to imagine the show without Susan, Gordon or Bob. They were the humans that were on the show the most when I watched it growing up. Also, Maria, Luis and David were on quite a bit as well. As for Carroll Spinney, he...
Actually, they were talking about that on Regis and Kelly today, but I don't think they gave an actual starting date. I'm guessing it will be in April.
Hmmm. I haven't seen Kermit's Swamp Years so I can't comment on that. I don't know why so many people dislike VMC though. I thought that was one of the best. Oh, well. Everyone's entitled to their opinion.
I'd have to say my least favorite Muppet Movie was the Christmas Carol. I just...
I really enjoyed that one. I'll admit it was a bit odd to see Bunsen without Beaker, but this was season one before he existed so that's understandable.
Yeah. The Barkley closing was one I remember very clearly. I guess they changed that sometime in the 90s to a different closing with the Muppets and new music.
I guess it's a possibility. I know about quite a few actors that are gay, but still they're very talented. I never heard anything about Richard ever being married, so I don't know. I guess only Henson associates would know for sure.
Actually, about Bert taking a bath, you're probably referring to 'Christmas Eve on Sesame Street,' when Ernie's rubber duckie fell in the tub and Bert decided to get him a soap dish. That's the only time I remember seeing Bert in the tub.
Another thing to mention there was that Mr. Johnson from Sesame Street, also had the first name 'Fred.'
Some other mentionables would be Gladys, Elmo's mother and Herry Monster. (I realize his name is spelled differently from the other Harry's but still it's the same pronunciation.) There...
Then again, what about the first few seasons of "The Muppet Show" before Steve joined the cast? I'm guessing it was probably either Frank or Louise who did his hands there.
I think I vaguely remember Piggy's fantasy about thrown out in the cold. I also remember her fantasizing about not being able to marry Kermit if Nanny gets rid of him.
That one I remember. It went, "There's a Hole in the Bucket, Dear Liza, Dear Liza." I'm pretty sure it's on the lyrics archive. As for what season it was on. I don't know exactly. I think it was in the 80s when I saw that one.
Yeah. There's even a sequel with Elmo called "Another Monster at the End of This Book." I've never read it, but I have seen it quite a few times before.
