I have no problem with saying a movie sucks by the merits of its quality. But as a Muppet fan, I do take offense when it's stated a Muppet Movie sucks because it doesn't have specific characters waving to you in the background. Especially when there's so much else wrong with it.
I don't think...
I'd say I miss when everyone wasn't whining about that, but every pathetic generation thinks their cartoons are the best thing ever (worst of all, those who grew up in the 70's where animation TOTALLY sucked). Remember, in the 90's, for every Animaniacs and Ren and Stimpy we totally got pieces...
Rigby's a special case of fridge brilliance. The attributes that make him unlikable are those of a manchild with a major case of arrested development. I mean, he clearly has brother issues for one thing. But also, he seems the most reluctant to grow up, especially considering that Mordecai...
I'll take the cartoon over the poorly programmed, glitch ridden, frustrating, unwinnable mess of a video game any day. I agree with the Game Grump who said something to the extent of nobody likes the game, and those who claim to are lying. Or something like that.
I agree and I actually like the show! :smirk: But you know who's a worse protagonist? Sheen. They removed the one thing that made him funny (the Ultra Lord obsession) and basically turned him into the same arrogant Karma Houdini, only completely stupid. Now, normally I love a good stupid...
I'm thrilled. Very. The Sesame Street Comics seem to have disappeared after the first issue, and there hasn't been a Muppet comic presence since.
And I really like how they're doing a connected story this time.
The more I watch the show, the more I realize that's the point. There are times he actually pays for it and attests to it. They just don't happen enough.
Hence why I'm one of the blasphemous few that actually preferred The Cleveland Show to Family Guy when it was on. It's just hilarious that both Cleveland and Stan grew as characters when Peter shrunk to 2 jokes (being mean and acting like a child... both got old fast). But when they turned...
Say what you will about CN basically showing Teen Titans Go, Regular Show, Adventure Time and Gumball on an infinite loop, but those are strong shows that have large fanbases. This is the same CN that shoved "Dude! What Would Happen" down the viewers throats. It didn't matter that the show...
Uh? Boomerang at noon? Every day?
Totally still has Looney Tunes. CN has just been rerunning the same 5 shows lately, which is disappointing.
But on the plus side, no Johnny Test or Annoying Orange.
I miss being able to eat really spicy food without it turning my stomach into a sludge factory. It's probably all in my head, but I get overly cautious about that.
Speaking of things to eat, here are the things I miss eating the most:
Oreo Big Stuff. Lasted all of a week in the late 80's...
Well...uh... essentially the point. Which is why these notes aren't supposed to be in the hands of mortals...unless the shinigamis want to have some fun.
The X-Box crowd ruined that show. In the earlier episodes, Peter and Lois generally cared about their kids. I'll never forget that episode where Meg was being bullied by the popular kids and Lois has been implied to hire Quagmire to perform statutory rape on the cheerleader. Those mama Bear...
If there's one image that perfectly exemplifies my opinion of nostalgiaheads that whine about how "they don't make good cartoons I like nomore" that defend the stupidest shows possible, it's this...
Nothing quite says "I miss being young enough to like crappy porogramming" like Baby Looney...
Yeah. Eek the Cat made fun of them too. 90's all the way.
And even then, most "frivolous law suits" weren't as frivolous as the media tries to pass them off and ones that were probably didn't really happen. At best, these are funny little "what an idiot" jokes that get passed around. But...
Wait, do you mean frivolous lawsuits? Those were huge all over the 90's! Why do you think they did a Pinky and the Brain where Brain was trying to sue a microwave company for turning him into a mouse in an incident that involved non-dairy creamer? In fact, there's less reports of actual...
The entire box office was a bad draw this weekend. The lowest in a decade, which speaks that something is wrong with this year's box office overall. That said, Transformers pretty much doubled its budget in the second week, mostly due to international sales, especially since it just opened in...
If you watch them side by side, the earlier episodes have the same animation and color palette as The Busy World of Richard Scary... right down to the wrong colored tongues.
I'm still baffled by those who would rather see the same old clips available everywhere else on the full hour show. Yes, there's a completely idiotic reasoning for this, and yes, they love to show things that are only in widescreen, except when they don't... but we whined for DVD releases, we...
