Exactly. We got three seasons from a company that HATES season sets with a passion. Best of DVD's are the worst, but we were nothing but grateful for 3 lousy episodes on a 20 dollar disk. Because, before that, we got episodes chopped off, guest stars removed, and put into 60 minute revues...
Well, I'll give the sequel this... it's probably better for dumping the underdog winning the race concept at least. There were so many racing movies out last year. You hear all these complaints about "oh, there's too many dark and gritty superhero movies," yet no one complained about how there...
Upon further inspection, this is actually worse than it appears. This movie is actually different from, and probably not even connected to the first "Wings." It looks to be a completely different ripoff that Lionsgate dubbed and re-purposed to be a sequel. I'm surprised I didn't catch it...
Comic book announcement time.
You'll never believe who the Turtles are crossing over with.
I hope to see them with more IDW published characters at some point.
They just keep pumping the stuff out, and it all blends together.
But, really, it's stuff like Awesomeness TV, the Fred shows, and the crappy Discovery Kids knockoff shows CN that no one actually likes but they keep on anyway that really get me annoyed. At least these kidcoms somehow have an...
The era of physical home video is coming to an end, it's true... but Disney has yet to stream the Muppet Show episodes they did release. Streaming is a good thing, but there's so much horrendous politics behind who gets what and who gets to keep what for what amount of time. A slight...
That said, both channels' live action tweencoms are abysmal. I swear, some of them have to be stealth parody or done with some nod and wink of irony that they were dumb enough to be greenlit.
Dog with a Blog? I Didn't Do It? There were crappy gimmicky sitcoms from the 60's and 70's with more...
It's not really a matter of funny or not. It's more of a matter of being repetitive and getting less entertaining with every instance. Now there have been some solid episodes with that plot (the one where Plankton brainwashes Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, and Spongebob has to force feed them...
That is, again, providing that this is Disney's fault for not wanting to release it. I really wish Disney outsourced production on these DVD's to some other company. We got Animated Beetlejuice and a good portion of Nicktoons because of outsourcing to SHOUT. Disney even outsourced some of...
First off... Saw 22 Jump Street Friday, and I totally get the hype. I missed out on the first one and was kinda lost on it, but I LOVED how it opened with Nick Offerman lampshade hanging the heck out of the first movie and how it got a sequel.
Secondly, the very bad reaction to Spider-Man 2...
I'd rather be chained down to watch Planes and its sequel than 5 more minutes of that. At least Planes 1 had certain actors from Top Gun basically reprising their characters. This one just has weird Transformer thingies and farting planes.
They barely do at that. Ultimate Spider-Man got like 12 out of order episodes, and that's generous. Phineas and Ferb get their episodes cut into movies until recently when out of order episode segments (read: not full half hour episodes) on 2 disk sets (when they totally could fit into one)...
I didn't know whether to put this in the "Worst CGI movies" or Another dumb movie thread, but...
know what's worse than a ripoff of a Disney movie that isn't that good to begin with? How about a sequel to a ripoff of a Disney Movie that wasn't that good to cash in on that movie's sequel...
I'm going to go in the opposite direction of the show going on too far. It's not so much the almost Family Guy-ish level of jerkitude the characters have underwent (Family Guy actually desensitized that to me, actually)... almost every episode I've seen made in the past few years was all...
Hanna Montana is. Er... was, anyway.
But yeah, Disney hates the thought of anything that isn't a movie on DVD. Something I've said like a hundred times on this site by now.
First off, I can gladly say I've forgotten more about Sesame Street than most people would know... because I just can't remember that rock number bit.
Secondly, worst you've ever heard? Worst I've ever seen, too. I was almost convinced the lip sync was off because of the quality of the tape...
