Because the shows were done well. Pink Panther and Son, on the other hand, the tropes were obvious and played so mechanically. The thing just comes off as a bad knockoff of the Get-allong-Gang (which, in hindsight wasn't that good either), and the stock personalities outweigh the characters...
So, your ideal Muppet Movie is one with every single character ever with really big parts?
You must not like a single one, huh? :fanatic:
LTS has a crapload of flaws. Characters not appearing in it isn't one of them. Runtime, pacing, an ending that feels rushed, almost a cop-out is what...
Supposedly, he plays that version in Rise of the Dark Spark. Supposedly.
Other than that, I really do with Drift got more screentime and less Stereotypical Samurai attributes. Then again, when he was first introduced in the comics, well... Transformers fanbase, I don't need to finish that...
There's supposedly a horrifying video game character that has a cameo in Wreck-it-Ralph, but it's unconfirmed.
is supposedly from... well... try not to watch this clip too much before bed, guys...
Again, unconfirmed. But then again, what other video game has a hobo clown in it?
Just came back from Transformers 4, and I have to say, not as bad as some may make it out to be. Sure, huge problems like a bloated run time and crummy heroic humans (but, frankly, that's a Transformers tradition... and I'm not talking movies...and NO WHERE NEAR as bad as Daniel "temper tantrum...
On the positive side... the toy line is out. And unlike the 2K7 movie, Playmates didn't shoo off the current cartoon toy line and completely replace it with movie merch (yet). In fact, they still had far more Nick TMNT pegs full of merch than BayMNT figures. And they're also relatively the...
Not so much an episode, but I never stopped loving "Chair who forgot his glasses and bumps into everything and saying 'Excuse me.'" That's one I kept imitating as a small child.
I cheat. I find some of that stuff on TVTropes. To give you a clue, The Mad Hatter movie was under so bad it's good, the other one was under so bad it's Horrible.
I think that entire thing was done by one guy. I'd almost give him some respect for that if it didn't look like a D student's...
except it was just an ordinary Thursday. Today's the start of the big hoilday weekend, however. I still see Transformers coming out on top.
But at least that has Shatner in it, so there's probably plenty good hamming it up. I've always loved how hammy Star Trek actors are outside of Star...
I don't like how they made the Mad Hatter a fan girl's teenage dream. Maybe I've been raised too much on Disney's big nosed, goofy uncle looking Ed Wynn voiced Hatter, or even the Tennial illustration... but I HATE the concept of hot Hatter. And this was even before Tim Burton did his version...
If one of the posters on that article is to be believed, Page only came up with the characters/concept and does the voice of Clarence. He doesn't actually write the episodes, so all that would happen is someone taking over Clarence's voice.
But, like I said, if it does come to the show ending...
That just depresses the heck out of me. Clarence is a good show, and it sucks the creator is such a d-Bag to actually do that. I'm sure the show will continue with another voice actor, but if it does get overshadowed by controversy, I hope that at least Steven Universe takes its spot.
Oh, and a year later, and still Last Flight of the Champion doesn't even have so much as a wikipedia page or an entry (or mention!) on TVTropes. Not even a pity Redbox video release. Wow! You'd think something like that would be internet fodder by now.
EDIT: OH!! I knew I forgot something...
Back to the original thread's story.
We're almost at the film's 2 year anniversary. No news yet on further projects. Seems Visleman was all talk on his threat to have the Oogieloves take over the world. I'm sure he's probably planning something, but seems like no one wants in on a franchise...
If that's the case, I'm quite impressed with it. Wonder if it's Toon Boom.
Still, I gotta wonder why this didn't make the cut for Playhouse Disney. It's for more of a younger audience than Wander, Gravity Falls, or Phineas and Ferb, but it seems not young enough to be with Jake and the...
Exactly. It's not like the Sesame Street Coffee Table Books (Unpaved or 40 Years) were entirely complete and had a lot missing and inaccurate. That happens with any compendium style books. But we're lucky. We've only had quality ones so far. Most franchises don't get that lucky.
I saw the leaked preview episode, and all I can say is this.
I can expect no less from former Animaniacs writers and producers, and it blew away my already high expectations. In other words, I thought it would be good, but didn't think it would be even better. But the biggest surprise was...
Having a job and High School together are horrible things to juggle. You have no free time, and you still can't manage to keep ahead in either. That's a Herculean task to just get a reference and small amounts of money, at the risk of your schoolwork. That isn't to say I didn't try that in...
