Pretty petty considering there hasn't been a Sesame Street cameo since MTM (unless you count the door in a jar from MFS, I don't), not to mention the fact that they actually tried to get one in there. Closest we've got, and closest we'll ever get is Constantine watching Kermit the Frog as a...
I give that guy credit for at least saying they're fake. Seriously. Lazily writing episode titles for a long cancelled show as some sort of wish fulfillment is even lower than the "Pooh's Adventures of" videos. Even those take the effort of downloading and editing. And they're always somehow...
Really?!? They're making a movie based on Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Now, I appreciate that they've been trying for almost half a decade back when zombies weren't a discredited meme and still relevant, but to keep trying now? And after other concept films like Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter...
Ugh... I forgot to finish. Sorry about that.
I see these primarily on Wikipedia pages. Lost Media Wiki for example keeps getting bad cases of this over and over, no matter what the mods do about it.
Yeah, Slackbot gave a pretty good description of what I'm talking about, but they're usually...
And I assure you, this is very obnoxious. Even worse than idiotic racist comments on Youtube videos.
Idiots that type imaginary synopses of imaginary episodes of TV shows to either troll or because they're under the delusion that if they write the title of some fan fictiony garbage, that...
Wasn't exactly the point I was making, but frankly I haven't seen Iron Man 2. Somehow it ticked people off because it was somehow bad (again, didn't see it, can't confirm it), and the only film goers who vehemently hated Iron Man 3 were those who were obnoxious purists that were upset by the...
Okay... wow. Again... global.
It probably was the most profitable of all the Jay Ward based movies, that's for sure. It was also the best written. Of course, that group includes Boris and Natasha and Dudley Do-Right, so the bar wasn't raised very high to begin with.
Dudley Do-Right sucked...
According to the SDCC panel we're gonna see a couple fan favorite characters in season 3....
Napoleon Bonafrog and Mondo Gecko. Very excited about them both. Gecko's going to be played by Robby Rist, who played Mikey in the first film, in the tradition of giving Slash's part to Corey...
So 300 did well due to the international market? Heh... once again, don't underestimate the international gross. Second week 300 was out, it dropped significantly in the domestics. Even behind Peabody and Sherman's unimpressive second week take.
Anyway, I see TMNT doing better...
Seems Mexico is getting some hand me down monsters...
Here's a skit with the not quite Narf Puppet and Mel with eyes..
Other than that, the guy performing Elmo sounds pretty close. I always felt the original Elmo Dub voice they used too screechy.
Those things either tend to do well or cling onto obscurity until Oscar Nomination season. Biopics are Oscar Bait, after all. It's not about making money so much as it's about studios saying "Hey! We do art, too." Not that it doesn't look good, considering I don't care much for Biopics...
I really wish PBS Kids (the digital channel) would have Sesame at some point during the day. As it stands, they feel kids go to bed before 5, and older kids want to watch Antiques Roadshow the rest of the night. Maybe that will change with the half hour version?
YES!
Large, highly detailed action figures were a turn of the millennium thing, and no one wants to admit it. They don't sell like they used to, and we're not going to see that kind of boom ever again. There are only hard core gamer licenses and current or cult movie licenses by...
Thought so...
UGHHHH!!!! They couldn't have put a not spoilery image?
Still really looking forward to it, though. Hope it's not on an episode late in the season.
Eh, whatever... doesn't make the cartoon suck any less. Whoever made that cartoon hasn't seen a Huckleberry Hound cartoon in his life, and you can essentially throw any Hanna Barbera character in that cartoon and it would be the same.
These Jungle Book movies are not so much knockoffs of big budget recent kiddy films so much as preemptive knockoffs of big budget Jungle Book adaptions to come. At least 2 studios have expressed interest in live action Jungle Book adaptions, Disney being one of them... and it's probably a safe...
Actually... make that A BILLION! It just passed the billion mark, and is the highest earning movie of the year. Disappointment nothing. That's not even counting the toy sales, which are pretty much partially the reason these keep getting made. These films were meant for international...
Matt threw himself into the role, and his perfect Shaggy acting made the films better than they needed to be. I remember reading that he actually screamed all day until he was hoarse to get the voice right. THAT is commitment. And yes, he's my second favorite Shaggy behind Casey. Glad to see...
Yeah. That kind of humor died out relatively quick. In retrospect, the Scrappy-Doo thing was very heavy handed. It's been said Tim Curry was going to be the villain of the movie, but he backed out because Scrappy was in it.
Still, the second movie actually has a plot too, so... there's that...
