Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
The first film tried too hard to be like those Brady Bunch movies. Mocking the show's conventions, cliches, and blatantly retreading college student theories. It's funny the first time, but it doesn't hold up. The deleted scenes are better than the actual cut (animated opening especially)...
Hate double posting... but is the jury out on those Goodtimes DTV RedBox Jungle Book movies? The ones that I've never heard of until Burger King kept giving it kid's meal prizes (which I'm sure they use whenever they run out of things because no one actually wants them)?
Transformers made about 900 million world wide. Not exactly a disappointment.
Hehe... Power Rangers having a nostalgia factor. Freakin' thing's still on the air. And we got the thing 20 years into the Super Sentai series. I don't see anything wrong with them doing a big budget film instead...
The film's really getting great reviews. I remember when the project was announced and Rocket was going to be in it, murmurs of "Howard the Duck" were being tossed around by old comic geek cynics. Disney has really taken chances with this film, bizarre concepts and risky release date, and this...
Just like what Galgar said, this movie doesn't need to make Spongebob look like what he'd look like if he was real. They basically took the characters and made them CGI versions of themselves and it looks completely believable and natural. No one's gained inexplicable blue or brown irises in...
another article about the SDCC presentation
Not too much we already didn't know, but it's nice to see this getting press outside of Muppet news outlets.
Looks like GOTG had an impressive late night Thursday opening... EVEN better than Captain America: The Winter Soldier! Somehow, this film was originally tracked for a 60 million weekend, but now they're confident that they'll get 70 million. And these aren't just numbers that are appearing out...
Whaddaya Know! Rick and Morty had a nod to Gravity Falls (of which R&M creator Justin Roiland does a couple voices in)
That's a Mystery Shack souvenir mug.
The Simpsons managed to pull it off, but mainly because they got as many of the the original writers back as possible. Maybe if they got Tim Hill to stop directing mediocre kid's films to do a pass of the script and got Steven Hillenberg involved, it would sound a lot more promising. That and...
UGH...

It really seems that if they do, they're doing it better than most. I dare say, maybe even tongue in cheek. The film looks like a chaotic mess, and I wouldn't have it any other way for a wacky cartoon like Spongebob. I especially liked the Mad Max style Apocalypse gag.
Thought didn't occur...
Man... watch Sean Connery absolutely gush about Sir Billi (the button nosed freaks movie mentioned a few pages back)
He seems like a freaking zombie! Just like through the whole film. Tragic.
Apparently this is very patriotic a Scottish movie... and The filmmakers were none too happy that...
Higher budget than the series, not as high as most movies. Definitely not Blockbuster status.
Then again... TV shows typically don't get made into movies until 30 years later over here... blah blah... rare occasions where they don't usually don't turn out well... probably been dozens of Super...

You may not like those Disney shows, but let me tell you something... Disney finally started respecting their TV animation division again after Phineas and Ferb, and I'm forever grateful for that. Only lousy cartoon Disney has done recently is Fish Hooks, but it doesn't have a...
As I've been saying recently, Liberace. It had some pretty decent stuff the first half of the show, but whoever decided to just let him hijack the rest of the episode... eh, I'll cut the joke. It was a bad decision. He barely interacted with them, and it's mostly him with a piano. If not a...
If there's one episode that's completely underrated, it's the Homebody Matt episode of Fraggle Rock Animated. In fact, that concept alone seems like it was wasted on that show and should have been an episode of the live action series. An episode about Traveling Matt becoming afraid of...
Was that response still "what is this?"
