Bear arrives on Disney+ The beloved series has been off the air for the past 15 years. Now all four seasons are finally available for a whole new generation.
It appears to me that the season four set will be packaged with extras like all the others. It also appears that the series box set will have the same number of DVDs. The poster might just be in both as well. I think the main difference will be in how the set is packaged together and...
It seemed longer than the ads, but I guess it was a little shorter. Maybe ET slows down time. That's how Mary Hart attempts to stay young. I get it now. I miss what that show used to be in the 80s. It's now just like all the other infotainment programs. :sympathy:
My Top Sesame Street 5
First off, Kermit is a free-agent so he’s out of the running for my count.
1. Ernie has always made me laugh. I see him as Jim’s major contribution to Sesame Street and he will always be my favorite character on the program. Who else could pop off a friend’s nose...
Here are a few ways I'd like to see the CDs released:
:) An individual golden treatment soundtrack for each of the 6 Muppet films beginning with the first trilogy and containing the original theatrical poster art on the sleeve.
 Volume Muppet Movie sets that lump some films together...
It was a quick ET report, but longer than the ads. It mainly centered on the Jonas Brothers and Miss Piggy, however Floyd appeared to be playing backup. It also showed Milley Cyrus with the Snowths and that HSM girl with Kermit. Is it just me or does that girl look like a pre-makeover Ashley...
I expect it might take a day or so for people to settle in before sticking things up on the web. You know, a Doozer would have already built and rebuilt an entire webpage for this by now. :busy: ;)
Double Dipping DVD Standard
For years Fraggle fans screamed for the complete episodes on DVD and now they're doing just what most every other DVD series does when it closes - make a collector's edition box of all of it. Seeing how comprehensive the individual sets are I hardly see much to...
I understand the strategy's origin, but don't think it's a good fit with the Western collector. Japanese toy style - sure, but marketing gimmick - needlessly irritates more than just me. I would go so far as to say that it puts some collectors off from a line completely. I have known that to be...
I think so too. The thing I never understood about the blind boxing is that most of the money for that strategy is made in the secondary market and wouldn't go to MindStyle. It really cloaks the legitimate popularity of an item.
I'm still hoping for some pictures to surface of the prototypes.
I think it would be great to use Gerry Parks as the Fraggle Rock Movie's main Doc, but have all the other international "Doc" characters briefly woven into the story along the way. I can see the main Sproket being mistaken for each "Doc's" Sproket and steal their treats and spoils along the way...
Hmm. I can see a Junior Gorg running gag of him chasing after the fraggles the entire movie (kind of like Sweetums in the Muppet Movie, but much, much bigger). :coy:
Exactly. I know of no figures that are collected because of their alphabetical appeal. That smacks of a corporate decision from someone that doesn't understand action figures, collectors and not to mention the Fraggle brand. The blind boxing that I went through with their Jim Henson City...
Hope this helps.
The drawings on Animal’s box are from some of the Muppet licensor art intended to demonstrate the correct ways to illustrate the characters. These aren't the puppet building instructions. Those designs are entirely different and are considered more of a trade secret.
These...
I believe in a more pragmatic optimism: If you don't know things are going to be horrible why expect them to be so? It's more along the lines of Fox Mulder's "I want to believe" mantra rather than some perky blind faith. Mix that sentiment with how a child sees possibilities and that's how I see...
:smirk: What are you talking about? I don't think you understood me.
Having licensors at the ComicCon actually see so many people (die hard and casual fans alike) gathered to watch Red's performance tomorrow will prove how loved - and marketable - they are. It won't take YouTube to show...
Aren't these shelved until the movie? That's what had been reported.
(In my stern frogboy voice) Listen up, MindStyle people and make your way over to Karen Prell, Dave Goelz and Red Fraggle tomorrow and see how popular Fraggle Rock really is. Then hit the factory button as fast as you can...
Much has been said about recasts and performances of the Muppets so here's my look at characters and performances now and then and what I would like to see...
Steve Whitmire's Kermit (as mentioned previously) will never be Jim Henson's. Kermit comes from Jim's initial creation and his...
