Judging from Bunsen's snickers, I would bet it was planned.
By the way: you know how I mentioned that one book, Quilting With the Muppets? It came in today, and I managed to sneak a quick look at it.
Turns out the Muppet Workshop made that one really elaborate AIDS quilt patch for Richard...
Yeah, he did direct some Muppet productions after FR but before his death. And I think that, if Richard hadn't died at such a young age, he might have been next in line to direct a full-length Muppet movie, or perhaps a new Muppet show. I can really see him taking on something like that.
Just heard about this on CNN: Bono's just been knighted. :sing:
But since he's from the Republic and not from Northern Ireland, he can't be called 'sir,' and he doesn't like that title anyway. But he says 'Lord of lords' and 'your demigodness' are perfectly acceptable. :)
(up in heaven, R. hears the ghost-related chat and joins in)
R: That's what they all said...until the White Lady came outside to chat with Jim.
MN: Oh? What'd she say?
R: The usual; she said we were doing a good job on the film, and we were welcome to stop in for tea after we were done.
MN...
Yeah, Richard's ghost might occasionally pop in for a weekend or two. I imagine that he'd get along well with the White Lady, but he probably wouldn't like the graveyard ghost.
And I wonder if, on his way up to the roof to do his ghost routine, Richard ran into one or both of the ghosts...
(laughs) Ah, Richard...up to your usual tricks, I see. Oh, well, the locals set themselves up for it by mentioning the Knebworth ghosts while the Muppeteers were within earshot.
"On Eagle's Wings" is one of my favorites too, heralde...although the last time I played it was at my uncle's funeral.
Let's see..."For to His angels He's given a command, to guide you in all of your ways; upon their hands they will bear you up lest you dash your foot against a stone..." I know what you mean, heralde.
As for the dream...well, it seems that I've had Richard on the brain fairly frequently, so...
Yeah, it's kind of the same for me, heralde. In my case it's academics; ten million huge projects, plus the perpetually annoying housing lottery. At least I'm going to be a senior, so this is the last year I'll have to put up with it.
Nice to hear that you found a copy...and a few nights ago...
Nora: Wonder what's going on?
MN: Yeah, the front door was blocked off, so I had to come in the back.
Nora: Well, Phil mentioned something about the whole place being moved to a new server...
MN: Maybe that explains why the "Domain Default Page" keeps coming up.
Nora: And why all the other pages...
True...but the principals, Richard included, were based in England for all five years of TMS's run, so they'd have had enough time to get used to it. And there is that one story that Linda Lavin mentioned in "Of Muppets and Men," the one about Richard passing her in his car on the way up from...
Not to mention the mad cabby who honked at Gonzo to get out of the road, for a brief moment while he wasn't down in the trenches with Scooter. But I think Sara would be a tad safer with him than with Beauregard...at least Richard seemed to be fairly comfortable driving on the left side of the road.
MN: Ah...Friday at last.
Storyteller: Yes...now, who's up for pizza?
Nora: Ooh! Me! Me!
MN: Sounds good, but it'll have to be double cheese or vegetables. Still got a few weeks of Lent left.
Storyteller: That's all right...now, then, I've got a batch of dough stored in the fridge, so if you...
Erm...not those kinds of cookies, Will. I meant the round edible little baked things, not the forcibly ejected contents of one's...oh, never mind.
By the way, here's the Jabberwocky link.

P.S.: If...
(oven timer goes off)
Crumb's up. (removes it from oven)
By the way, guys, I found a clip somewhere (not YouTube) of Scooter and Rowlf doing 'Jabberwocky.' It is truly weird...but delightfully weird, and excellent. You've got Scooter reciting his portion of the poem as he's swinging his...
Oh, no...(quickly seizes a handful of chocolate mint cookies from a jar kept on the counter in the RHLC headquarters kitchen) Here ya go, my big furry friend! (tosses cookies to CM and quickly sequesters the makings of crumb out of the way...for the time being)
Hi, Sara, nice to see you again!
And...good grief, what's gotten into you? Launching an entire, unprovoked blackberry pie at the face of your beloved Muppeteer? He for whom you founded a fan club of great renown and...
(Richard flies in, having just consumed a slice of said pie)
