A lot of the promos heavily feature Behemoth...kind of odd if he's not much in the film. Then again Disney is pulling a retcon by featuring Pepe in a lot of the movie promos even though he's not much in the film. Regarding Behemoth, several of the promos show oddball stuff in his mouth...from a...
Piggy has been going more full bodied in interviews...meaning like in SNL, we see her fully standing. On Fallon, the illusion of her and Piggy appearing without looking puppeteered was a neat trick
This review sums up why the world needs the Muppets now more than ever:

To me that's edgy. If everything is "ironic", cynical and "edgy", then being goofy, honest and such would be the new edgy. I personally cannot stand the current time period we live...
Well it's like I usually try to buy dvds of movies I enjoyed...but whats the point anymore? New dvds still cost $20, and now have ZERO extras. Meanwhile I can download a beautiful blu ray rip that will play on my dvd, and i can load it with tons of hd behind the scenes featurettes, deleted...
Dr Tooth: Im with you! I'll watch ANY stop motion. Ray Harryhausen. Those old Santa ones. Cryptic stuff like Jan Svankmajer, the Brothers Quay and the Tool videos. Anything by Henry Selick and or Tim Burton. Fantastic Mr Fox. Aardman studios.
You excited about the pirates one and ParaNorman...
Yeah Im kind of tired of it. It's pathetic, there's no Muppet merch or toys in stores yet Toy Story takes up a whole row at all big box retailers. And thats fine...but while I was a HUGE Toy Story fan 95-2000, I started to grow a little weary of too much Pixar overload. I actually couldnt stand...
You might have to table some of the germaphobe stuff when you get a girlfriend, or if you ever have to spend time in a Hospital waiting room:)
Yeah it's sad there's been such a big nanny agenda to stop kids meal toys. The 90's had some of the most amazing toy sets from non top 3 establishments...
Dr Tooth, you need to see the oscar nominated 2009 documentary "Outrage", which exposes just how many virulently anti gay Republicans on the hill are themselves closeted homosexuals. And I still think the elite killed the DC Madam, who was about to reveal a treasure trove of bedroom secrets on...
I don't know why reviews say it's not that good. The 30 second preview made it look amazing, but it could be just because for personal reasons it really appeals to me(the premise of it)
I loved the point of Hawaiian Vacation, as it harkens back to the Muppet Babies and Rugrats idea of...

File under the I'll believe it when I see it bin:) Even if it was just a short lived mid season replacement I'd be curious
Strangely there's hardly any Muppet promo item auctions on ebay. I woulda thought there'd be tons of items. Was hoping to get a chance to bid on the world premiere stuff. I wish I was there, I woulda snagged a ton and sent em to people on here for the heck of it.
Well they're going out of their way to push Scooter and Rowlf back to the forefront which is good. Though it's funny how only some characters (like Piggy) get new outfits
I think a decade ago, even less, some of the Muppet fill-ins were a bit awkward and needed work. Statler and Waldorf, Scooter, etc didn't quite sound right. Now? Statler and Waldorf(after seeing a good 5 minutes of them on ESPN) are perfect. Scooter as of Bo-Rhapsody=perfect. Rowlf=perfect now...
Has Piggy ever been so "full bodied" before? I don't mean full figured...I mean, where in live appearances on tv she appears full bodied as opposed to being filmed from the waste up like most Muppets. On Leno and especially SNL. On SNL she appears to be standing, further adding to the illusion...
Loved the episode! Thought the opener was rather banal, but it's spoofing Mitt Romney who is about as boring as it gets.
Loved the Muppet monologue, pitch perfect on all fronts. Though again, what is up with the Fozzie puppet? They seriously need to go back to using the 2008 Fozzie and Gonzo...
Just saw the Modern Family episode where it starts off where the couple is getting into an argument with a dad about letting his kids see a violent horror film...then they realize oops, they accidentally were in the wrong theater...showing the new Muppet movie! Too hilarious! I swear Modern...
