I think it's Fraggle Rock. I say this because I seem to recall hearing that somewhere, and also because Gobo, I feel, has an extra bit of Jerry in him.
Yes, I agree that Kermit and Rowlf will be there, as Kermit is a must, and Rowlf is one of the classic Muppet Show guys. But if his Jimmy Dean appearances were his only claim to fame, and Rowlf was never seen again, I wouldn't have counted on him being in this book.:sympathy: Same for Kermit if...
By the way, I am just explaining what I would like to see in the book. I know they didn't promise any characters before 1970, and I know they didn't say it had everyone in it (a.k.a. complete) either. Still, it should be a fun book - here's hoping it's great!
Yes, the Disney logo on everything that says Muppets (whether they must legally or not) is not cool.
While I won't expect Sesame Muppets or Fraggles characters in this Encyclopedia, and certainly not any other Henson Worlds, (as cool as it would be, I agree!) I personally feel that it should...
The Garfield Show is a lot of fun, and I wish it had been in prime time on Cartoon Network so that it could have had a bigger fan base (I feel the same about Pink Panther & Pals - I find both of these shows to be far superior to the current popular CN shows).
The show was very easy to...
Quote about Barney the purple Dinosaur:
And, if I recall rightly from the book "Street Gang" Barney succeeded in making the folks in charge of Sesame Street dumb down Sesame from what it had been, so that it could compete with Barney. So there was still something sacrificed :( And of course, so...
I hope it's not true. With a new Muppet movie on the way, this is not the time (from a commercial point of view) to stop MV3D! Now, from any other point of view, it's never a good time to stop it, of course. And that MV3D has Jim and the crew in it is more than enough of a reason that it should...
Lou Reed was, first of all, like no one else. Talk about unique! That's worth a lot right there, because let's face it - a lot of people make music that feels like the music of others. And then he was a true artist. That word artist is used even for people who make the most bland commercial...
Sorry I don't have a plot, but I hope that Big Bird and Oscar are the biggest
stars in it, and that they make the film about Oscar this time, with his name in
the title of the film. If Mr. Spinney would like this, that is! He should be
rewarded for being on SS since 1969 with another starring...
I agree! Thank you for clearing up which Thundercats set it is, too!
Sorry the Lou video is no longer up :( But I really appreciated seeing it!
And now Lou's book is out:

Great news!
It seems you're correct that this is how it's going. But I don't like it, because if netflix, itunes, (or the company with the rights) wants to stop a show or movie from streaming, then it's gone. If a physical version exists, you can get it used at a later date, at least.
When I love a musical...
