I was very saddened to hear about Teddy's passing. I always loved his music, especially "Turn off the Lights"...he was also an accomplished producer, working with Miles Jaye in the late 80's as well as many other artists. He will be missed.
So many great episodes to choose from. I have always loved the Harry Belafonte show, the Mark Hamill and Alice Cooper episodes best. I love the whole macarbe feel of the Cooper show and to see Hamil and the droids singin "When You Wish Upon a Star" with The Muppets was awesome and somewhat...

Elvis Presley would have been 75 today...Happy B-day to The King! As a part-time Elvis impersonator, I have been very busy this week, culminating with a big show at a senior center today that was covered by a local newspaper (as were others i did this week).
Happy Birthday Elvis...the forever...
THANK YOU! Someone else remembers Midnight Madness, that is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I thought I was alone, thank you Xerus for making my day!
When you look over the course of 2009, we lost a lot of special people. Within the last week or so we lost Brittany Murphy, Alaina Reed Hall and Roy E. Disney. It makes me wish humans were immortal, and re-examine my own mortality. May all we lost rest in peace.
I loved Olivia...I had such a crush on her as a kid! She was beautiful, she could sing, and just seemed like a wonderful lady. She shall be missed. 2009 has been a big year for losing beloved celebrities.
That is one of my favorite movies of all time, Holiday or otherwise...I always laugh like crazy when I watch it. My other favorites would have to be Home Alone 1 & 2...I love funny Holiday movies best. Macauley Culkin was a hoot when he was a kid!
Speaking as a Best Buy associate, I have heard rumors about our deals and our competitors' leaking out online (and have had customers trying to grill me for information) and I won't know until I walk in to work on Friday morning, but I anticipate a very exciting day. Call me a glutton, but I...
I know I am late posting here, but I just wanted to say that I LOVE this set! Granted there were some overdone bits and songs, but there were some true gems on here too. I don't remember Henson 1, and it was great to see "If I knew You were coming..." with Ernie and Cookie again. I also...
This is truly fantastic news, as my old vinyl copies of these albums will not play anymore.
About 2 years ago, I posted a thread about the possibility of a Sesame Street Karaoke collection. As a DJ and Karaoke host (who plays a lot of kid's parties) I would love to see this happen. Sound Choice...
I got really jazzed up reading over the special features...I cannot wait until this set is released.
I noticed Paul Benedict on the cover...ah, Mad Painter segments...can't wait to see what else is on there!
I would have to say that this is THE funniest episode of Family Guy since the "I Dream of Jesus" episode. Peter singing "Surfin' Bird" over and over again made me laugh like crazy, but the universe hopping the other night was pretty darn funny. As far as the Cleveland Show goes, I think it's of...
Once again a tragic loss, Mr. Swayze was one of my favorite actors ever. Loved Dirty Dancing and Roadhouse to name a few, but a guilty pleasure for me was Too Wong Foo...I mean it was just something I would have never imagined...Swayze and company were hilarious!
Rest in Peace, we will surely...
In keeping with the "Classic Sesame" theme, Mr. Hooper's passing has always stuck with me...I still remember watching the episode like it was yesterday. The producers really handled Will Lee's passing in a truthful, yet pure Sesame Street way and I still feel it is one of the most memorable...
I am actually glad to see The Wiggles on Sprout, I think they are a better fit here than they were on Disney Channel. I have to admit though, it was surreal the other day when watching with my daughter to hear Capt. Feathersword announce that Play With Me Sesame was coming up next. Could the...
