I'll have to catch that on rerun. It's so much fun seeing how creators of South Park and Family Guy incorporate stuff from their childhood and other shows into their own shows.
I know it's not the best thing for dedicated fans wh ocan't go to stuff like this, but those places are where the big studios are located and where stuff happens in the entertainment business.
It looks like Lindsay Lohan was the host of that episode. Her picture is in the first segment of the cartoon before the dog rips it in half.

I can imagine some parents reading that article and taking their kids to that show to show them the Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal puppets. Then the little kid would see them half rotting off their frames and start to scream, "Mommy! Mommy! So-so is dying!" and the child would begin to cry...
