The current CEO of Disney, whoever replaced Eisner, isn't a big fan of the Muppets either. He pulled the plug on many of Eisner's plans including the cheapquels, a Hunchback of Notre Dame broadway show or something else to do with that movie, and funding for the Muppets.

Yes, sometimes these are funny. Like when they're on late night TV, but I wish they wouldn't make shirts of these or at least kids shouldn't. But nowadays anything can be done with a computer.

For April Fool's Day one year everyone borrowed Phil's Kermit avatar as a joke. That's the only time I ever had an avatar.

You must be thinking of someone else. The only time I've had an avatar was copying Philip Chapman's for an April Fool's joke two years ago.

How big is the Jareth bust?

I remember there was a thread about this. People were wondering how Jim was persuaded to "brag" about his accomplishments, because he was so modest in real life. My theory was that he was hypnotized into doing it.

But this is the memorial service, not the actual funeral only viewed by a private gathering. That I would think is "ghoulish," but the memorial service was open to the public when it was held and I think if people want to view it now they should be able to do so.
