Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Nah. She was in plenty more through season 12. What we've come to learn is that each season, she would come by and stay for a few weeks worth of shows before going back to Hawaii.

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

My alma matter had a Theater/Comedy major, and yes stand-up was an option. As your "final exam," you would actually get to perform at the Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, which famous comedians do stuff often.

I did take a stand-up course in college.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Yeah. The script called for the dragon from "Imagine That," but we were surprised (and disgusted) when we saw that thing instead.

She's probably toast by now. I heard Barkley is too, sadly.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance - Episode 1 - End. Begin. All the Same.

That was immensely more entertaining than the movie. And the puppetry is top-notch. Side note: it was so obvious the girlfriend guard was going to die. I mean, all the "boy our lives are great and we're in love" stuff made it very clear.

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

No, no specifics were announced. All that was said was the premise and Rosemarie Truglio would be there to help explain/give insight as to why things weren't aired/run often. (Also it wasn't last night, it was almost two weeks ago).

Official: “Muppets Now”, an unscripted series coming to Disney+ on July 31, 2020

I guess you don't read the AV Club often; they're known for their snark.

I mean, Disney already jumped on the 2000s-nostalgia train with their That's So Raven continuation series, and that recent Kim Possible movie.

Kermit to appear at Disney's D23 Expo 2019

Haven't watched it yet, so I don't know how long he's up, but it's possible Matt might have one of those harnesses they used at the Outside Land shows that help keep the arm up and ease the weight.

Official: “Muppets Now”, an unscripted series coming to Disney+ on July 31, 2020

Short form is like that, yes. I wouldn't figure any of these are longer than 10 minutes. I had heard that they actually shot these things, but there wasn't any confirmation they would be released. I also heard that they're not fully "unscripted" because entails a lot more work, production-wise.

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

Well, the former is an interesting and indirect way of addressing drugs (I'm surprised they haven't made it like one of their tentpole "big issue" episodes they bring up all the time). The latter is just, "130 episodes is a lot of work! Make up characters!"

Sesame Street Season 50 News and Rumors

I'd imagine some sort of copy was written for them after some initial contact. They wouldn't want a celebrity going on camera and being like, "I liked that one cartoon with the fairy...or was it a pixie?"

Where are all these classic Sesame Street episodes coming from?

I mean, technically speaking, it makes the episode feel more "new" beyond recycling the street scenes.
