This really seems very similar to the cancellation of Sesame Street Unpaved on Noggin years ago. At least the feeling is. But that was mostly because it got mostly poor ratings. And back then, it seemed like Sesame Workshop didn’t want us to see the classic material. This time, it’s all about...
I do have to say that if they end up getting rid of most of the classic episodes when this happens, I'll be wicked upset. This actually kind of reminds me of when Noggin got rid of Sesame Street Unpaved. I know it was 20 years ago, but I literally thought it would be the end of the world. And I...
I have noticed that on the "new" episodes on the AAPB (seasons 1-14), they now have that message with the red background about how a user improperly downloaded episodes.
I kinda wanna get back to the original topic. Going to the file page gives a partial list of some of the pages it's on, but not all of them. I can't seem to be able to click on the file name when I bring up the page.
I've always gotten several PBS stations where I live. Of course my main one was always WGBH in Boston, as well as their sister station WGBX, but I also got WENH from New Hampshire and WSBE from Rhode Island. I remember in the 80s, the day started off with Sesame Street at 7am, and then Mister...
You have to realize Season 1 is the very first season. There was never anything before it. So all the stuff they had was state of the art for its time, compared to some of the other educational shows that were on at the time. I know this is going to sound crazy, but there were other educational...
Well, I’m afraid I have the answer. It IS Andrew who is responsible for it. (Surprise, surprise!) The first person he told seems to be a tech genius and was able to figure it out. Go figure.
I am ever so ******. Like more ****** than you can even imagine. In fact, I don’t think I have ever been more ****** in my whole life. The thing is, if he was able to get these episodes, there must be a way to download them. Even if it’s not legal. I don’t know how this feels, but see a part of...
I just hope Andrew is not the one responsible for uploading episode 847, and any other episodes that may have leaked. All I will say is that if he is, I had absolutely nothing to do with it. I swear on my mother’s grave. But he did recently upload an episode to his YouTube channel “1999 Fan”...
I also wanted to point out that 3487 seems to be the only episode that actually has the "Coming Soon" preview intact for the next episode, 3488. It makes me wonder if it will make people want to see that episode, and I'm guessing why they normally don't include those, and I actually really like...
Some more episodes were added today. 3487, 3543, 3764, 3806, 3848, 3962, 4034, 4067. It seems like there’s a theme with a lot of them. A lot of them had Barkley, Tarah, and/or Linda. I’m also surprised that for 3543 and 3764 they picked the reruns instead of the originals.
I can’t help but wonder something about this episode. It appears to me that some of the Hawaii scenes may have originally been intended to be in a different order. For instance, I think scene 5 may have originally been supposed to go before scene 4, because I noticed in the beginning of scene 5...
I don't know how many people here are familiar with pluto tv, it's basically a free streaming service that has all kinds of programming on it, some which can't be found anywhere else. It makes me wonder if there could be a channel that has old episodes of Sesame Street. I'm suggesting this...
