    Now it's Billy Mays...

If the doctor acted so recklessly then definitely he should be punished, it's sickening. Still, no one forced Jackson to take the pills. He may have been a hard working artist but a lot of talented people make bad decisions in their lives. Being talented doesn't make you a good person or a smart...

Goodbye Gidget the Taco Bell Chihuahua

Nope, Karl Malden just died in July. David Carradine was "Bill" in the Kill Bill movies, and was also on the Kung Fu TV series. He came from a large and prominent acting family. Hope that helps! :)

    Please pray for my family

My prayers are with your family! No one is spared from pain in this life. It's not what happens, but how we choose to deal with it. Good luck to you!

    R.I.P. John Hughes

You know I can watch Home Alone today and it's still funny and still so incredibly heart felt. I'd urge anyone to listen to the commentary on the DVD, they talk all about how unusual the film was for its time. Back then, it was very rare to have a kid carry a whole film virtually on his own. And...

    Now it's Billy Mays...

Oh I'm not saying people weren't shocked, they were. I admit I was. I'm saying in retrospect we really shouldn't have been. Even if the media has been blowing up the story, any use of drugs carries risks. I'm not putting him down specifically, a lot of people have similar problems...

    Now it's Billy Mays...

Well on the other hand, we really shouldn't have been surprised about Jackson's death. There was suspicion that he wasn't living in a healthy way with pills and all. Thanks for pointing that out, Carradine was a big loss to the acting world. It is frankly sickening how celebrities who happen...

Your Favorite SST Muppet Design Through the Years

Oh yeah I think green Oscar is ultimately the best look for the character. Orange Oscar is just an interesting historical note. Plus perhaps representative of its time when everything was being drenched in bright color, lol. ;)

    Lovin' It?

Those are actually really good, Colbynfriends! :halo: I get the feeling at this point McDonald's feels they don't need to put as much effort into advertising as before. They're pretty much settled in the public mind.

The only thing to do about that on youtube is give those comments a thumbs down. ;)

    The RHLC!

I am so sick of the rain! I'm really ready for it to be Fall (hopefully that will bring about a change!). Hallmark stores are already beginning to stock Halloween decorations and Christmas ornaments! Eventually it will begin to annoy me, but for now, yay! : D I haven't seen this clip before...

    Increase in Persons with Moneys

I just talked to my friend the English major, hehe, she says "anyways" is obviously slang, but that "persons" and "moneys" is perfectly acceptable in the English language. :)

Your Thoughts: Square Roots: The Story of SpongeBob SquarePants

    Increase in Persons with Moneys

Your Thoughts: Square Roots: The Story of SpongeBob SquarePants

I'm a huge Spongebob fan, though I think the series itself has jumped the shark; I don't really watch the new episodes. But in its beginning it was such a breath of fresh air and so different. You hardly see cartoons about sort of young adults who are learning to live on their own, get a job and...

Why did MFS and EIG bomb so bad?

Absolutely, I think it showed a misunderstanding of their personalities and what kept them in character. It may have been an entertaining pre teen movie, but it wasn't the Muppets.
