    The Official Theater/Broadway Lovers Thread

Hmm, that might have to be my next birthday present, hehe. ;) Yeah as much as I love Broadway, there's definitely a ton of things to poke fun at. I remember starting a Broadway channel on Pandora and after awhile you do start to notice patterns (like in that song in Spamalot: "Once in every...

Cool, thanks for the review, maybe I'll look for the soundtrack. Have you ever heard the Forbidden Broadway CDs? They're so hilarious, lol.

    The Official Theater/Broadway Lovers Thread

Yup, that's how I got into it. My friend showed it to me in High School and I became quite the loyal/obsessed fan for awhile, lol. I loved Mr. Mistoffelees and Mungojerrie. :halo: From there I bought the original Broadway soundtrack and also the original London soundtrack on my trip to Ireland.

    The Official Theater/Broadway Lovers Thread

I was fortunate enough to see several Broadway shows over the years. It's always a lot of fun and it did help inspire me to get into acting in school and auditions more recently. I often consider Cats my favorite but ironically I was never able to see it on Broadway. Perhaps some day it...

    Roger Rabbit Blu-ray March 12, 2013!

Well I confess I don't mind being a bit of a sourpuss when it comes to Citizen Kane because I do find it vastly overrated, lol (and I say this as a huge fan of classic cinema). So I guess in order to not be hypocritical I have to accept that some people may not like Roger Rabbit, even though I...

    Your Favorite Muppet Christmas Special

Don't know how much longer it will be up, but there's a poll on The Paley Center for Media's website asking what your favorite Christmas special is. John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together is one of the choices! http://www.paleycenter.org/ (Scroll down to the bottom)

I Love the 40's MC thread

I love listening to the old radio shows, especially Peter Lorre appearances, lol. And the music is very charming, Kay Kyser was actually very amusing. :)

What did you get for Christmas? 2012 Edition

Well first off I got this new signature, thanks Charles Dickens! ;) My friend was nice enough to give me Sesame Street Old School #3, we watched the episode with Richard's cameo last night, yay! It was also nice to finally see some sketches we recognized from our childhoods. A collection of...

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

I do prefer a Christmas release; it helps to build up a lot of excitement. As far as whether that means it would be rushed or not, I honestly have no idea. It could go either way. Bottom line there has to be a good script that is followed through with by the director.

    Is Mildred Zoot's mother?

Now we're getting into the whole "canon vs. fanon" issue, lol.

    Is Mildred Zoot's mother?

I took it as a joke within a skit. But on the other hand, there's no reason you can't take it literally if you want to.

    Your Muppet mistakes

Similar thing happened to me with the Jim Henson Hour, I thought there was just an unusual amount of Muppet specials that year and only later realized it was an actual TV show, lol.

Has Anyone Been To A Live Taping Of A Tv Show?

My friend and I went to a taping of a stand up comedy hour on Comedy Central. They instructed us to cheer and clap when the taping began even if the comics weren't any good, lol.

The Christmas Toy on The Hub, Sunday Dec. 23rd

Yeah I've been impressed thus far with their willingness to show Henson material. Fraggle Rock is still on their website so you never know, it might come back on rotation eventually.

Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July

Exactly, plus it felt like all the women were mad at Rudolph while the men felt sorry for him. It was more of that old fashioned nonsense the original Rudolph special had. I actually enjoy that one, if only for the "Moving Finger Writes" song that ABC Family always annoyingly cuts, lol:

Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July

I imagine people mainly don't like it because of how nasty everyone is to Rudolph at one point. It's just unpleasant for a long time in the story.
