I do prefer a Christmas release; it helps to build up a lot of excitement. As far as whether that means it would be rushed or not, I honestly have no idea. It could go either way. Bottom line there has to be a good script that is followed through with by the director.

Exactly, plus it felt like all the women were mad at Rudolph while the men felt sorry for him. It was more of that old fashioned nonsense the original Rudolph special had. I actually enjoy that one, if only for the "Moving Finger Writes" song that ABC Family always annoyingly cuts, lol:

I imagine people mainly don't like it because of how nasty everyone is to Rudolph at one point. It's just unpleasant for a long time in the story.
