That's true, John wants to back out because he his contrast had a no pigs clause. So yeah it was more of a hostage situation, but Kermit was definitely participating, particularly during the closing number, lol.
Muppet Show Kermit could get a little desperate when it came to making sure the...
Thanks. : ) I mean I don't want them out of my life but it seems there's nothing I can do to make things better. That's what makes this so frustrating and disappointing.
Some people in my life have disappointed me greatly. Life could be so wonderful but some people just choose to be miserable and make others around them just as miserable. And it makes me angry and sad and frustrated that things can't be different.
Oh I've noticed this odd plot point for years, lol. Yeah Santa's the one who gives presents, not the parents, and if he's gone, there's no presents, period. It makes sense when you consider the target audience is children.
Though some specials have tried to be a bit deeper about Santa's role...
OK fair enough, I admit I'm not as up on 1990's-Present Sesame Street. But I do think once Tickle Me Elmo became a huge hit on Black Fridays the creators did lean in a certain direction.
I love Muppet Babies but it annoys me how Muppet Show Scooter has suddenly become a nerd. Nothing against nerds but Muppet Show Scooter was not like that. He was an eager yet calculating young person desperate to get into show business, lol.
Well you can rave about adult puppetry but that...
Even his whizkid status is a bit in question for me. More and more I suspect he had a lot of talented people around him back then who didn't get all the attention and glory. Directors get treated like gods when there's so many other people who contribute to the making of a film.
Because he's also someone who works in the children's entertainment field, whose character became very high profile. But yeah ultimately the connection was a stretch. Fellow voice actors would probably know each other but puppeteers are a different profession.
Yeah that ended up being pretty pointless, lol. Though I did like his answer. Adults in general have added responsibility towards children, not just child entertainers, lol.
Indeed. The way it is now I'm not sure it is all that beneficial to kids. But it's unreasonable to expect that such a long running would remain fresh forever.
I'm right there with you. We run these wonderful shows into the ground until they're shadows of their former selves. It's become your typical "talk down to kids" program. I doubt it will be cancelled because it is such an institution. Who wants to be the one to get rid of Sesame Street (besides...
That's true of some Agnostics but for others they just feel there's no way either "side" can be proven right so the best thing is to remain neutral on the matter. They're not sure there's a God, but they won't say there definitely isn't.
Yes, because he's the one who is truly in need of it. A nice boyfriend wouldn't need to be forgiven, heh.
Now should he be around women again? Heck no, lol.
As someone who has studied acting, an actor is definitely not a character his/she plays. They can use aspects of their personality to bring a character to life, but the result is an artifical creation, out of context with the actor's entire life. Plus there are always other factors, such as...
