The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Thread!

Well it is a bit of an insult in that it's wrong in the first place for Snoopy to ask for any of these gifts back and he's basically acting all snooty saying "Oh it's OK, you owe me nothing!" Lol

What Muppet Merchandise would you like to see come out this year

I LOVED Colorforms! I used to have a Muppet Babies set. Ah memories! :)

Could MuppeTelevision be an "old shame"?

I don't think I'd go that far to say it's an old shame. More like that part of the show just didn't have too many moments that became super memorable the way the other projects did.

    Animated Spin-offs

That's actually fine with me because I always enjoyed watching them interact with each other more than the physical comedy. I think the cartoon's quite cute, lol. And the actors did an amazing job!

What made you roll your eyes today thread?

Part of the job is dealing with fans who ask odd questions. The goal I think is to keep it lite and then move on, lol.

Personally I highly anticipated I'd hate it from the beginning. ;)

Another Stupid movie to Overreact to...

That's the essence of advertising. Buy this product and you'll be happy. Miss out, and you'll be a loser. It's a tried and true way of getting people to spend their money.

The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That!

On the other hand, limited facial expressions were a hallmark of many 70's and '80s cartoons and we still enjoy watching them, lol.

New Muppet movie in development for potential 2013 release

I'm really not confident in a summer release. More likely than not it would get lost in the shuffle.

The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That!

Martin Short does a very good job. The animation distracts me though, it's such odd, lol.

MCC: What would you have changed?

Oh you know you're right! It does kinda read more like a Creature Shop film at times. That's interesting. Wow...you know I had the exact same image in my mind?! Lol :concern:

MCC: What would you have changed?

It didn't come off as daring to me; it came off as just like any other kid's movie. The Muppets had always been about putting a unique stamp on things.

MCC: What would you have changed?

Well I have to respectfully disagree. Humor does not automatically cancel out touching emotion. The Muppets have always been good at combining humor with poignancy. Mickey's Christmas Carol had Disney characters playing the ghosts very effectively.

    whats "spin off" mean?

I think the significant definition is here: "The distribution by a business to its stockholders of particular assets and especially of stock of another company; also : the new company created by such a distribution"

MCC: What would you have changed?

The main thing for me is that the parts of the three ghosts should clearly have been played by some of the standard Muppet characters. It's always enjoyable seeing the Muppets impart their unique brand of wisdom on humans, hehe.
