Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Yes, Seasons 1 through 3 are now all fully guided, images and all, save for the 'lost' episodes, like you mentioned. As for Episode 0298, is that considered 'lost' or not? It's missing one final Street Scene yet is not in the list of 'lost' episodes on the Wiki. Just wondering.

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

Also, be sure to check out this one, which I've never seen before. This likewise was shown only seven times (or thereabouts), and only appeared in Season 2, before I started my 'viewing days.' The music, at least to me, sounds like a cross between an early version of the Who and the...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

Check out Alaina Reed (Olivia) singing in this segment which first appeared in Season 8 and, strangely. only appeared on seven episodes, the last being in Season 11. Who besides me thinks of Donna Summer when they hear this? Thanks.

    Little things we've noticed

I could be wrong, but I think somebody posted in a YouTube comment that the triangle was voiced by Buddy Hackett. Again, just going by what I think I remember 'off the top of my head.'

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Check Muppet Wiki now - Episode 1143 is NOT lost! Whether it can be entirely uploaded to YouTube without 'risking' getting in trouble, though, I'm not sure.

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

I know it's on a different Web site (Streamable), but the following is a collection of eight segments from the 1970's. Does anybody remember her? http://www.streamable.com/s8r6f5

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

I see what you mean. However, like Episode 0617, which was just taken down as a whole, it depends on how and why it was uploaded. If it was through legal means, then fine, but if it was done in violation, then that could be an issue.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Thanks for responding. In a way, it's a 'mixed bag,' because I get to see several segments (like the two I mentioned in this case) which I have never seen for a long time, and at the same time have to see comments of a threatening and/or denigrating nature (especially on YouTube) over the...

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

Please see my comment about Episode 0617 on the thread 'Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube.' It contains both 'good news' (fond memories from the past) and 'bad news' (concerns about legal problems) insights in it. Thanks.

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

Another early episode which was just uploaded to YouTube is Episode 0617, and it includes a couple of segments - namely Kermit and Cookie demonstrating 'through' and a gymnast demonstrating 'over' and 'under' - which I have been waiting to see for a long time. If you saw the episode, you may...

Sesame Street Classics HBO Max Rollouts

I might have said this before, but whenever I see that the 'HBO Max' page on Muppet Wiki has been edited, I go check it out, hoping that this is the day when some episodes from the early years (especially the 1970's) are shown again, only to find out that they aren't. Oh well, as I (and many)...

Sesame Street Classics HBO Max Rollouts

Hi, DotBridgeKeeper. Like I mentioned to LittleJerry92, 'true classic' is a subjective phrase, and as many of you who've seen me post here, on MuppetWiki, and YouTube may know, I'm 'pushing' for more stuff from the show's first 14 seasons, both in terms of personal memories and being able to...

Sesame Street Classics HBO Max Rollouts

Interesting point, LittleJerry92. I guess the phrase 'true classic' is 'swayed' by my personal viewing history when it comes to the show. And, like I think I've mentioned before, the first 14 seasons are the only ones as of now which need more info in terms of snapshots of what a segment...

Sesame Street Classics HBO Max Rollouts

I check Muppet Wiki regularly, and 'get excited' when I see the page for HBO Max get updated, thinking 'Maybe they have more Classic episodes coming out which can be uploaded!!!' Sure enough, this was the case for this past Friday, but sort of like YellowYahooey, I'm a little disappointed that...

    Classic Sesame Clips on YouTube

I noticed that, too. His channel name was changed to 'SP GOALS' (or so I think). In any case, I remember him as being one of the most 'regularly reliable' (or, if you will, 'reliably regular') uploaders of vintage Sesame Street and TEC videos.

    Little things we've noticed

Hi, YellowYahooey: If you're referring to the segment from Episode 0593 (Season 5) which is on YouTube (and released on HBO Max about a year ago today), then I remember that segment fondly as well! However, as to whether it was 'modified' or 'reworded' into a Candian segment, I'm not sure...

What episodes would you like to see on HBO Max?

Hi, everyone. I know this might sound on the 'unrealistic' (or at least 'vague') side, but if at least a good sample of episodes from the first 14 seasons could be on the list, that would be great! It doesn't matter which ones (and, like others have said, it surely won't be all), but it's just...

Sesame Street Classics HBO Max Rollouts

Hi, all! I too saw that HBO Max added (or plans to add) 12 new 'older' episodes to its lineup, but, as many of you probably know, I'm in the same camp as DotBridgekeeper and others in hoping that they also 'throw in' at least a few more from the first 14 seasons (since, who knows, that also...

    Gymnast

Hi, everyone. If you remember Sesame Street from the 1970's, you might remember a gymnast who appeared in several short segments. Upon doing some research on the Web, it stands a reasonable chance that she might be Deborah Eich Romer, who graduated from Seaford High School (on Long Island, NY)...

    Maria, David and Bob Skit

Above is the link to the clip, now on YouTube. I remember it fondly, and upon watching it now find it hilarious how David tries (and fails) to remember the sung 'jingles' which Maria taught Bob and him (e.g. 'If you do two wrongs, you'll never be right,' etc.). Censored - your lyrics to the...
