I did not know this. It seems a rather tenuous thread connecting Wings to Cheers but in-character appearances from the Cheers crew definitely helps the case. Interesting. I used to watch Wings some when it ran and I've seen some of Cheers too but never made the connection before. Thanks for...
I have seen VHS tapes with recordings of Sesame Street before. There very well still could be some floating around. Home recordings are how the BBC recovered many episodes of Doctor Who. Sesame Workshop could conceivably do the same for Sesame Street.:search:
I just saw a Talking ALF (based on Teddy Ruxpin)- along with Teddy Ruxpin himself! And Grubby- all at a comic book store. If other lines could do it, surely Fraggle Rock could! :smirk::dreamy::coy::sigh::excited::drool::busy:
Oh yeah! I loved Teddy Ruxpin as a kid. I would have loved to see a Fraggle Rock version! Too bad it never happened. Maybe some prototype items were made though?...
Here's what Muppet Wiki has about the Worlds of Wonder deal-

It looks like the company folded before anything could be produced so I guess no Gobo meets Teddy Ruxpin here.:smirk:
Thanks!
Yes- I'd LOVE to see this special one day!
(I'm particularly interested because I love to see Kermit the Frog on Sesame Street!) :wisdom:
I know. I thought you might like to see it anyway. Sorry I couldn't find anything from "The Muppet Show" book. At least that got your post a little boost so maybe someone else will see it and be able to help.
This page has a link to a brief bit of audio of Grover from a Sesame Street book. :super:

Thanks for the information. That's awesome! I do hope Sesame Workshop can eventually recover all those episodes.:wisdom::smile::super::insatiable::batty::stick_out_tongue::frown::laugh::search:
So sorry to hear this. Mr. Spinney will always be the voice of Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch on Sesame Street :wisdom: :grouchy: and I appreciate the role that show played in my childhood.
May God bless and comfort his family in this sad time.:sympathy::sigh:
It does seem unlikely there would be a scene with Herbert and Kermit together on Sesame Street but it is still nice to know they did appear together in The Muppet Movie finale scene. I was just excited to finally find the Herbert Birdsfoot character in that crowd scene.
