    Sesame Street Unpaved off Noggin...

Apparently, if this keeps up, actually TWICE a month...

    Sesame Street Unpaved off Noggin...

This just in: DirecTV corrected their schedule for May 13-16; SSU is not airing on those days. (Somehow, I presume the Monday (May 12) schedule got duplicated across the following days.) So I guess SSU is now alternating with season 25 every other Monday.

    Sesame Street Unpaved off Noggin...

I didn't. Someone else did, and they told me. Either way, it doesn't matter; the official schedules say it's going to be on every other Monday. (I just cannot believe that it will be on Monday-Friday that week, as DirecTV's site says; but we'll find out on May 13...)

    Sesame Street Unpaved off Noggin...

DirecTV says it's also running Tuesday-Friday that week...but MTV Networks' official schedules says it's only airing that Monday. And according to those schedules (which, BTW, are not available to the public; someone told me the info), it's airing every other week, rotated with (I presume...

    Sesame Street Unpaved off Noggin...

Oh my...I checked DirecTV.com, and this time, it's true. SSU is no longer on Noggin. :( Oh well, it was fun while it lasted...

    The Muppet Show Alternate Openings

Actually, whenever a channel in an English-speaking country with the PAL standard (England, Australia, maybe even New Zealand) reruns the season 1 eps, they sometimes run the original-opening ones, probably because it's cheaper than getting new ones made....

    SS Running Time?

The PBS broadcasts ran 56-58 minutes. Noggin's run 52-54 minutes. So, yes, they are edited, though I don't know WHAT'S edited from them. Actually, I do know some of the things edited from a couple episodes (noticeable edits): In #1, the "follow the leader" film removed the "over" and...

    Alternate FR openings

I think they were toying with the idea of alternate versions in season 1, but dropped the idea quickly...maybe Terry knows.

What Unpaved episode was on Noggin last weekend?

Sorry...I messed up with the title. I confused the two. You're right, it has Big Bird going to school. I don't remember the letter sponsors, but it was sponsored by the number 8.

    Ask Ken at Palisades

Kevin and Luke are entitled to their opinions, but put me down as someone else who would like to see Palisades handle the Homestar franchise. Homestar Runner is extremely funny...as you can see, I am enough of a fan to have made Homestar my avatar. But anyway, it's all up to Palisades, and...

What letters and numbers were sponsored on THESE episodes?

1092: D, M, 3 (however, for some strange reason, the sponsors are identified as D, M, and 2 at the end!)

    The Electric Company rip-off

This show actually does air sometimes, during Cable in the Classroom. I should know, because I sometimes get TEC closings at the beginning of my SSU recordings... However, it doesn't always come on, but if you check Noggin's schedule (not on their website, but on some place like DirecTV.com)...

What was on Unpaved last weekend?

It did air, and it was #1186, the 1978-79 season premiere (and the introduction of Barkley the dog). It was sponsored by the letter D, and the number 2. (For some reason, in the 70s, season premieres were often only sponsored by one letter... )

Museum of TV and Radio: Return Trip

Well, I had to go down south for something, and so spent one day at the Museum of Television and Radio. Here's what I saw: -Wheel of Fortune (a 1976 episode, with Chuck Woolery and Susan Stafford) This was a championship semi-finals episode (meaning some of the best players were on), but I...
