The Muppet Show Commercials

Hi Guys,
Tom was talking about the improvised Commercials that Jim and Frank made for The Muppet Show when it was being made.

Does anyone know anything about these, Or even better does any one have any of these ?

Im not sure where they woud have been shown, In the UK or US.
I would think UK, But it could be the US.


Any information would be fantastic !

This must have been one of those commercials that someone had the Audio of, I think they said it was Introducing Morcamb and Wise Christmas Special ?

I am pretty sure that I read somewhere (probably Of Muppets and Men) that Jim and Frank used to record these promos in spare minutes during filming - completely improvised and unrehearsed and were often some of the funniest moments they recorded together.

Hey, these would make a great extra on a DVD don't ya think!

I agree about the extras on the DVD, Guy. That's why I originally mentioned them -- I remembered the same thing that you did written in OM&M. I wonder if they had one for every guest star, then?
