I saw Disney On Ice for the first time ever 2 years ago, when the feature act was characters from Finding Nemo, and I must say i enjoyed it. I even bought a program and a poster which proudly hangs in my bedroom. Now that I have a daughter...I'll go see it again.
In 1985, Vince McMahon took the biggest risk of his career and launched WrestleMania which still runs annually 24 years later! McMahon along with Hulk Hogan and many others changed wrestling forever on March 31, 1985 in Madison Square Garden. Mr.T. was Hulk's partner in the main event, Liberace'...
George Carlin...we'll miss you!
I apologize if this has been posted already, but I found out a few days ago that we lost one of the greatest comedians ever last weekend to a heart attack. George was 71 and brilliant!
Rest In Peace George, you'll always have a place in our hearts and a place...
I miss Saturday morning wrestling with Vince McMahon in his canary yellow suit...ah the good old days. (The draft is ridiculous.) Saturdays just aren't what they used to be.
Darth Alphabet...zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
"Hey Cow, I See You Now" is my all-time favorite non-Muppet segment (I think my signature proves that).
Anyway, the one I liked the least? I'd have to pick James Earl Jones doing the alphabet. Don't get me wrong, Mr. Jones is a terrific actor, but that segment...
My daughter, (now 14 months old) LOVES The Muppet Show!
Her favorite episode so far is Alice Cooper...which has me wondering.
Anyway, I think The Muppets are timeless and transcend generation.
One of my personal favorite movie mistakes happens in "Raiders of the Lost Ark". In a scene where Indy is in a plane, there is a superimposed image of a map as he sinks back into his seat. On the map we see a country marked Thailand...but because of the time period in which this movie takes...
I own:

Sesame Street Old School Volumes 1 & 2
All 3 Seasons of Land Of The Lost
HR Pufnstuf-The Complete Series
The Bugaloos
Lidsville
Sigmund & The Sea Monsters Season 1
The Complete Rocky Saga
The Star Wars Original Triology with Bonus Disc
The Back To...
I'll say Kermit and Fozzie too. Anytime you pair (in the old days) Jim and Frank, it's magic. I feel the Kermit/Fozzie dynamic was to TMS what Ernie and Bert were to Sesame Street.
I have always related to Sam Eagle. "I am surrounded by weirdos!" is a favorite saying of mine as well as Sam's...I say it every day (and if you lived where I do, you'd understand)
I always liked Sam, now I know why!
