George Carlin...we'll miss you!

I apologize if this has been posted already, but I found out a few days ago that we lost one of the greatest comedians ever last weekend to a heart attack. George was 71 and brilliant!
Rest In Peace George, you'll always have a place in our hearts and a place for your stuff!

......wow. Thats really upsetting. :sympathy: Aw man... I don't even know what to say at this point.

I can't say I agreed with every position George Carlin ever took. But I think he was a genuinely funny guy and talented comedian who worked very hard, and made the work of comedy much looser. :insatiable:

It's like Charlton Heston. Some people may not agree with his stance on guns. But he marched with Martin Luther King and stood for civil rights (when many celebrities were too afraid). People are complicated and we need to consider the whole person. :smile:

my brother is the world's biggest George Carlin fan.. I even called him after I heard this to make sure he was doing ok :frown: .. he is, but he's been listening to nothing but George Carlin albums
