Dang, how many more shows is that guy gonna make? He's already doing Family Guy and American Dad, do we really need ANOTHER show that's pretty much a mirror-image of it's predacesors?

Well, I guess I can't say anything, after all Green Acres is the spin-off of a spin-off and almost had its own spin-off.

I just hope it doesn't do so many needless cut-away gags. The American Dad pilot did them, but the rest of the series didn't.

Plus, the theme song for this new show is quite good!

You know, at first I was annoys about the show and the Bears being the next door neighbors and everything, But I actually kind of can't wait to see what it's like.

I have to say, I wouldn't mind the cut scenes IF they were at least set up right, and they didn't use such awful stretches now and then. Next season (and I'm not kidding) Peter will say "This is the worst meal I ever had since that time I didn't have time to Poop before company arrives" leading to a scene where company arrives and he's upset he can't poop. They're clearly satirizing the self satire at this point. I love the show and all, but American Dad is at least consistantly well done. The Tearjerker episode was amazing.

It still baffles me that they went with Cleveland for a spin-off series and not Quagmire.

Cuz, Cleveland is an underdeveloped character that has the untapped potential to actually have a series. Quagmire, much as I love the character, is a one note character... there's no way he would be able to hold a show by himself. it would be nothing but jokes about him getting some.

Joe would be another great candidate for a spinoff... Bonny finally has the Baby and they move to another city, and the whole thing could be a send up of cop shows and movies...
