    Bert's Bottlecap collection skit

Early 70s, I always loved this one! Bert shows Ernie, who is already bored with nothing to do, his bottlecap collection. Ernie could care less, and Bert goes on about how he has been trying to find one cap he is missing, the figgy fizz. Ernie later shows Bert what he found on the sidewalk, and...

    Boom-Boom-Boom-Boom!

Was the Grover in this sketch the old dark green one or the blue one? Was this the same AM girl as the one in the first show of the season w/ Gordon creating an AM family? I assume this had to be '70 or so because the character of Big Jeffy was only the first two seasons correct? If...

    Judy Collins on SS

My mom is a huge fan of hers, and I like her music as well, one of the best. She appeared on the Street around the time I was kind of out growing the show, you can say. Anyone have any favorite skits they remember she was in?

    'Everyone Like Ice Cream'

That green anything muppet, the one with the pointy head, was in a lot of different skits, at times different: 'Consider yourself at home'-First SS show 'Everyone Likes Ice Cream' -Of course  'LuLus back in town'- Had a little hair and a stache, not a kid though I'm sure...

    Voiceovers on non-muppet skits

The T skit I'm referring to starts off with a llittle cartoon of two men pulling up a huge letter 'T'. This may be Luis' voice, as I said, but I'm not sure.

    Voiceovers on non-muppet skits

I was wondering who did these voiceovers for some of these cartoon and people skits, one I DO know: The 'T' skits- I think it was Luis' voice but I'm not sure Everybody sleeps-song Big and Little- Two guys leading separate lives, one plays tuba, other plays a fiddle That 12345678910...

    Grover and Kermit The Frog

I saw this one skit circa 1971, well part of it, on the special The Muppets: A 30 Year Celebraton, or something. It wasn't on SS, but Kermit was playing the piano, and Grover interrupts playing a banjo solo. Kermit gets frusterated and says: Kermit "Why are you paying the banjo?" Grover...

    Grover "Near and Far"

Actually, there were two versions of this: The very first one was with the not so loveable Grover when I he was green, probably circa '69 or '70. The later one they did one with the Grover we all know today.

    Boy loses his toy box

Right, Farley. I actually forgot that was his name. I recall now. Yes, he knocked all the boxes off then put his head down crying. That made me crack up! Jim Henson did the best job putting emotions into his characters whenever he did the voices, in my humble opinion.

    Boy loses his toy box

This was a great skit! Boy goes to the local Lost and Found trying to find his lost toy box. After the owner goes through a dozen different boxes, the boy discovers it was in his pocket the whole time. The ending was hilarious as the owner gets frusterated and knocks all the boxes off the...

Jim Henson shows at TV Land Awards

I THINK Nick at Nite used to show TMS, actually that may have been Disney. But either way, some channel had it on for awhile then for some crazy reason stopped running them. I hope someone picks it up. Otherwise, just get the DVD set I guess

Jim Henson shows at TV Land Awards

And they are really missing the boat by not running TMS, because that show was great, and a classic.
