Cm Well, though I am 36, I can't recall the exact episode LOL!! I saw a skit on a recent show, don't remember which one, with CM in rap gear doing a song with Ja Rule :grouchy: Oh boy!! Not a highlight for this muppet, I can tell you that. Anyone else catch it?

    Evolution of Cookie Monster-my view

Here's how I see it: Kind of cute, but we saw a precursor to the charatcer on the Ed Sullivan Show tape 'Muppets Magic' a great buy for anyone interested in Pre-SS muppet acts. Yes, as mentioned, he was a green color, with very sharp teeth, and Henson did the voice for him, not Frank Oz. This...

    Claymation skits

As a kid, I always loved claymation, and being that I always enjoyed crafts in grade school, working with clay, at times I would try to copy what I saw on TV. I'm sure many of you remember these skits with Sammy the Snake and Quincy on the letts 'S' and 'Q'

    Beautiful Day Monster Appreciation thread

BD Monster He was quite a scary one, and that 'B' skit used to scare the heck out of me too! In his Muppet Show days, he didn't seem as frightening though. That 'Got anything cheaper?' skit with Paul Williams was great! Anyone who saw it, knows what I mean.

Why we all like Sesame Street

There is so much garbage on TV that this show makes people forget all of that, and still ensures that there are programs trying to promote good values. When I watched back in the day, I also enjoyed the anticipaton of the show. I loved ANY sketch with Kermit, the Bert and Ernie ones, well, what...

    Paul Simon on the 'Street'

I remember Paul Simon doing a wonderful ballad, and I don't know the name of it, it goes something like this (pardon me if the lyrics are screwed up, but it's been ages): 'I'd rather be a shadow than a snail Yes I would, if I could I surely would, Hmm Hmm Hmmm This truly was a great...

Where can I find this skit

Well, that DVD best of Ed Sullivan, Vol. 2 is widely available, but maybe someone can confirm for me it's on this DVD? I'm a huge fan of old ED, and he has some other good performers on there I would enjoy seeing as well besides this skit.
