Actually, there were two versions of this:

The very first one was with the not so loveable Grover when I he was green, probably circa '69 or '70. The later one they did one with the Grover we all know today.

I believe it's the newer one because I was born in 1980 so it had to be that one LOL

near and far- old school

I remember the old Grover when he was green/brown/ or whatever the tint on your old color tv was adjusted to. He was voiced by Jim this time. And this Grover, according to reliable sources, even showed up performing this skit for Johnny Carson. That would've been worth staying up late to watch!
