Looking for 1990 episode with Andrea Martin

Wow, I think this IS it! I must've just gotten her confused with her appearance on Put Down the Duckie (which I also had on tape back in the day). Now, does anyone have a copy of this they'd be willing to dub and trade with me? I'm very anxious to see the whole thing.

Looking for 1990 episode with Andrea Martin

I'm not sure, I can't look at it right now to find out, but I certainly will when I get on a less primitive computer...

    "Sing Along"

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had this video and was willing to trade a dub of it. If you can, I'd really appreciate it. PM me or email me at lastofthegypsies@hotmail.com, and I can send you my list of Sesame Street stuff. Thanks!

    Episode #3174

I was wondering, does anyone have this episode, and if you do, can you please post a rundown of it? I'd really, really appreciate it if you can. Also, I remember learning from someone several years ago that this episode was a re-run from a few years earlier...can anyone tell me when the...

Question about "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street"

Good, it's nice to know that that one broadcast wasn't just screwed up.

Question about "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street"

I didn't *see* it until 1989, but the tape of it that I watched then was from 1987. It was on PBS a few years ago?????

Question about "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street"

It's one of my favorites, too, but incredibly, I never knew it existed until nine years after my first viewing, when I bought a pre-recorded copy of it.

Question about "Christmas Eve on Sesame Street"

My copy, taped from the South Florida PBS station (WXEL) in December 1987 is missing the tag, with Gordon and Susan coming home to find that the tree has been eaten by Cookie Monster. And when I say it's missing, I mean it's actually cut from the broadcast. My guess is they did this to make...

    Trading page

It contains some Muppet stuff, so I might as well post the entire page here, just in case I have something non-Muppet that you might be interested in. http://www.geocities.com/betaman8/Trading.html It's not quite complete at the moment, but updates will continue. For trade offers...

    Wish me luck...

Whew, it's been a long time! I've finished this little project, and here is the list of shows I found on my old tapes. The ones that I don't know the numbers for are simply placed in the list randomly. Remember, most of them are incomplete because I was taping over shows every day, and on top...

If you could change 3 things about Sesame Street today

    1. Keep the new format, but stretch it a little bit in order to allow some classic clips to be shown. 2. I like the idea of making Elmo's World its own spin-off, too. 3. Make the stories revolve around the humans again. Unfortunately, it appears that I have nothing new to add...

    Renewed interest

I just wanted to say that this morning I watched Sesame Street on PBS for the first time probably since 1998. I'd avoided the show especially since 2002 because I'd heard that the new format made it so much different from the old shows that it wasn't worth watching. And it was odd for me to...

Did your PBS station do this?

My PBS stations (KETS-2 in Little Rock, WXEL-29 in South Florida, and WCET-48 in Cincinnati) didn't use number sketches as promos, but KETS-2 aired the Grover "What is Love?" sketch" whole as a promo (with music added and a title card before and after identifying the station).

Do you know when the appearances as Edith occurred?

Looking for 1990 episode with Andrea Martin

Well, I had no idea that many of the shows I watched in 1996-97 were actually reruns from a few years earlier until I found this board, so it could very possibly have been a rerun. I do know that my copy of the episode was definitely not taped in 1986-87 because this SS episode as well as the...

Looking for 1990 episode with Andrea Martin

I thought that I made a direct post about this a long time ago, but I just realized that that wasn't here, that was at the (now-defunct) Yesterdayland board. It's a long shot, but... I'm looking for an episode from (I think) the 1989-90 season that featured Andrea Martin in the same costume...

Big Bird goes to the hospital

The only reference to Big Bird at a hospital that I know of was the 1990 video release called "Sesame Street Goes to the Hospital" or something along those lines. I don't remember if there was a Sarah in it. Of course, you could be talking about something entirely different, because I wouldn't...
