Official: "The Muppets Mayhem" Disney+ series premieres Wednesday, May 10, 2023

So, does The Muppet Movie or Muppet Show imply there aren't a lot of Muppets involved?

Official: "The Muppets Mayhem" Disney+ series premieres Wednesday, May 10, 2023

Yeah, it's dumb in many of those cases. It should really be "Muppet Mayhem." THE MuppetS Mayhem sounds stupid.

The Muppet Show Season 4 Episode 4 - Dyan Cannon

I don't believe any rod removal was done on these shows. There's some times where the rod doesn't appear to be visible during Kermit's intros, but that appears on older versions as well; I think it's a side affect of the chroma keying whatever the curtains open up on.

So how many episodes of Sesame Street were filmed via Covid-19 restriction of distant learning ?

That remains to be seen. I'm assuming there's at least one more; Suki Lopez didn't come in because of the pandemic, but the people playing her family are credited, so my wager is they'll do a video chat episode with them.

Sesame Street Season 52 Episode 5212 - Astro Team Alpha

I wonder if this was inspired by the popularity of Among Us (space-themed online co-op game) during the pandemic.

Ice Age: Blue Sky's Answer to Shrek?

I thought it was going to be a TV show, which explained the crappy animation. But I can't believe they're actually putting that out and calling it a "movie."

    Little things we've noticed

I'm pretty sure Frank is the lead, Jim, Richard, and Jerry are his pals, and Jim's the officer. Frank looks like he's doing both the greaser and his gal at the end.

Sesame Street Special "See Us Coming Together"

More likely they're trying to avoid talking about the Capitol riot, so they'll drudge up whatever.

Naomi Osaka sure can't act, huh?

    Little things we've noticed

I assumed they cut down on episodes because they had to make all those EW segments, not because they couldn't fall back on repeating old street scenes.

Could the original setting of Sesame Street work for today’s modern day audiences ?

Yeah, but that was all pre-clean up of NYC. Before, Time Square wasn't even a safe place to be.

Could the original setting of Sesame Street work for today’s modern day audiences ?

I think the set kinda doesn't work that well because there's less human presence; everything is built to their scale, not the Muppets. I guarantee that if the show were being created today, they'd have a smaller, Muppet-scaled set. It's also hard to compare the realism of the set to an actual...
