Coming September 24, 2022: Sam and Friends book by Craig Shemin

I think a lot of older materials just weren't labeled well. I think Craig once mentioned something having the label of "Old Film" which says nothing of its contents. But I'm pumped. I will 100% be there if I can.

K, but WB was also probably contracted to the Batgirl movie and that didn't stop them from cancelling it.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

No, they're talking about the category called "Sesame Street Episode Guides," which was specifically for episodes that had full tables and pictures of everything. Now that such a distinction is not really a distinction, it's not really needed. Yeah, I get that there's "lost episodes," but how...

The Muppets on Holey Moley Season 4 Episode 10 on Tuesday July 12, 2022

Worse than that. We'll be generous and say three minutes tops per episode. For a 42 minute show, that's about 1/14th of any given episode.

The Muppets on Holey Moley Season 4 Episode 10 on Tuesday July 12, 2022

Such a waste of time. I hope the performers can put whatever money they were paid to some good use. Other than the one scene with Big Mean Carl, this was nothing of merit.

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

On the one hand, from what I've seen of the 70s stuff, it's not super interesting unless something actually interesting/funny is happening, like Oscar doing an election or Cookie eating Hooper's Store. When it's just "Let's play 'Here are Some Things'...again!" it's not very fun to watch as a...

Unearthing previously "lost" Sesame Street episodes

That's a narrow field, since the CTW hasn't been around since 2000.

Index of shows where a segment appeared

Probably datedness is a factor for some. Like those AM Family songs from season 1 that are all "Men have jobs, women stay home to clean, cook, and watch the kids."

    Human Cast Catelogue--Please Check!

It's also Loretta as Smart Tina, even though Loretta was Suzetta Something in those sketches. So who knows?

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

Jimmy Fallon has played video games on his show instead of coming up with any actual material. Questioning why they do anything is a pointless task.

Sesame Street Episode 847 with Margaret Hamilton

I'm guessing they avoided it maybe because the footage was not necessarily released by any official means.

I don't think you'll need to flood this thread with new guides anymore.

    Sesame Workshop/Shout! Factory Deal

IIRC, there's two song segments on that video that came from the show; all the rest are original to that video.

The Muppets on Holey Moley Season 4 Episode 4 on Tuesday May 24, 2022

Once again confirming there is no reason to watch this live. What was the point of doing this again if the Muppets are barely involved?

    Kermit Counts See and Say

Pretty sure it's the usual gang. It's just the toy has really lousy sound.

Are Bert, Ernie, and Snuffleupagus still on Sesame Street?

Bert and Ernie were just in a new episode a few weeks ago. Snuffy doesn't appear to have been used this season, presumably as a COVID-related thing.

    Little things we've noticed

Basically the same. The Kermit one was more of a storyboard than script, so I didn't really bother much with it. The former. They have episode scripts there as well, but I didn't look through any of them because we've already got that stuff covered. It's entirely possible there's earlier...

    Little things we've noticed

Pretty much. It doesn't seem really amount to much of anything; they look for the sarcophagus, eventually find it, and go to sleep. Yawn. I'm sure they might have been some funny lines and such in it, but the Prince Sahu plot is a lot more interesting and gives the whole special an emotional...
